Unfortunately, there are so many that it can be hard to keep track of w♎hich item goes to which character.

How To Complete The Lost? Found! Quest
The appearance of lost items is only triggered once you've completed the Lost? Found! quest that is given to you by your father, Jeralt. He's lost his Wooden Flask, and it must be returned.
You can find the flask inside the monastery on the second floor. Once returned to Jeralt, you'll start finding lost items once you've completed Familiar Scenery, the second chapter of the game.
You'll get the Lost? Found! quest very early on in the game as part of the tutorial. You can't miss it.
Every Lost Item And Their Owners
The table below lists every possible lost item and its respective owner in the game. Returning a Lost Item to its owner will give you a nice chunk of Support Points with the owner, letting you unlock Support Conversations quicker♐.
Anna, Jeritza, and the Ashen Wolves can only be recruited/unlocked if you have the Season Pass.
