With the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem Engage comes the return of the classic Fire Emblem class system. Upgrading and changing classes is a staple of the franchise. However, that isn't to say that everything has remained the same. In fact, we would say that Engage's implementation manages to make a few key changes that make it radically different from its predecessors in a few unique ways.

Engage's version of the class system introduces requirements for adopting new jobs that encourage the player to swap between the different Emblem Rings frequently. Beyond that, due to the way you build stats in Engage, Fire Emblem Engage also encourages you to switch jobs quickly instead of dragging things out. This all makes it a snappier, more involved version of a classic mechanic. But we will get into all of that down below!

When Can I Change Classes?

First and foremost, you won't be able to change classes right off the bat. Instead, you will be provided with an opportunity to start swapping classes after you complete the eighth chapter. That being said, having the a𒁃bility to change classes is only the first step toward powering up your units. Before a character can be promoted, they need to meet level requirements, weapon proficiency requireme༺nts, base class requirements, and the player must have the appropriate seal on hand.

Level Requirements

The first threshold you will need to meet in order to unlock an advanced class is a level requirement. You need to be level 10 in order to promote a character to an advanced class. Once a character has already been upgraded to an advanced class, they will have an opportunity to 𒁃switch to another advanced class, but they will have to hit level 20 first. So think carefully before you confirm the promotion.

While characters go back to level 1 one once they are promoted, they don't lose any of their stats. In fact, they receive a giant haul of stat upgrades during their promotion. Levels do not tell the story of a character's strength in Fire Emblem.

If you are simply loꦬoking to switch from one base class to another, there is no level requirement at all. The only things you will have to worry about are weapon proficiencies and having the appropriate seal on hand.

Weapon Proficiency Requirements

The primary impediment you are going to run into in the early game is going to be weapon levels. To gain weapon levels, you will need to equip the Emblem Ring that will provide proficiency for the weapon that you want to enhance.

Many Emblem Rings will be able to provide you with the ability to gain proficiency for multiple weapons. Leif is a particularly strong example of this. He can teach you how to use the axe,ꦏ bow, knife staff, lance, and sword. You get Leif after you complete Chapter 8 The Kingdom of Might. Once you get him, he will be your primary weapon trainer.

Once you have equipped an Emblem Ring that provides you with the proficiency you are looking for, you will need to level up your bond with that Emblem so that you can qualify for the class you are pursuing. You can use the Arena to quickly increase a character's bond with a given emblem. However, it is going to cost you some of those precious Bond Fragments. To find out which proficiencies each ring provides you, enter into the Emblem Rings menu, select a character, and then press the ZR button while hovering ꦑover an Emblem, this will show you their "Bond Effects."

Proficiencies are not the same as skills. You do not need to inherit them. Oncꦺe you have hit the required bond level with an Emblem, you will instantly (and permanently) acquire the respective weapon proficiency.

Class Requirements

You may wonder why anyone would ever bother with lateral moves to other base classes. Why not just focus on getting to level 10 and go on to an advanced class? Well, the last requirement is that advanced classes can only be taken up by units that have mastered the prerequisite base class. So, you aren't turning your Axe Fighter into a Sage. Not without having them spend some time as a Mage, at least. So, if you are looking to change a unit's career path, you are going to want to switch them over as quickly as possible. Remember, a lateral class change does not require that you be level 10 in your current class.

Secondary Seals And Master Seals

There are two types of upgrade seals in Fire Emblem Engage; there are Secondary Seals and Master Seals. Moving from a base class to another base class simply requires a Secondary Seal. Upgrading to an advanced class, on the other hand, will require that you have a Master Seal.

As we mentioned earlier, you can move to another advanced class once you hit level 20. Delightfully, you will not be required to use a Master Seal to acco👍m✤plish this. A Secondary Seal will suffice!

Master Seals and Secondary Seals can be purchased at the item shop (as of Chapter 8). However, during the first half of the game, they are ☂in limited supply. So, you will need to ration your seals. Master Seals are, unsurprisingly, more difficult to find. You will acquire your first Master Seals by beating bosses.

When Should I Promote My Units?

You should switch to an advanced class the first chance you get. In previous Fire Emblem games, it was often wiser to squeeze out every level before promoting a unit. But that just isn't the case in Fire Emblem Engage. The stat boosts are far better in the advanced classes, and you can reset them once you max them out. So, there is no incentive whatsoever to hold troops back and keeping them in theܫir base class past level 10.

While the regular, old base classes do not come with any unique skills, advanced classes all have special skills associated with them. So, make sure to choose wisely when select🌞ing y𒈔our advanced class. Most of these skills are incredibly potent, so you want to make sure you take them into consideration.
