To this end, you should consider putting in the effort to make Anna into a Sage or a High Priest. Doing so will capitalise on her extremely high Magic growth, and you'll have yourself a powerful mage unit that can deal out serious damage on par, if not more, with Citrinne and Celine.
6 Panette -💜 Paladi🦋n
Panette is super strong, with one of the highest strength growths, which is only enhanced by her default Berserker class. Axes are extremely powerful in Engage, and they don't seem as unreliable as they have been historically, which is great news for Panette.
As an axe user, she can go down the route of𓂃 being a Paladin, giving her more movement, not to mention the class growths for Paladin are fairly decent across the board. This will bolster what is already good about Panette, while also letting her cover larger distances.
5 👍 Alear - Wyvern Knight ౠ
There's something enjoyable about moving your main character out of their default and unique class to put them on the back of a terrifying wyvern. This was a good idea in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem Three Houses and remains so in Engage. Alear will never struggle in most classes you put them into, so long▨ as they can use the Liberation sword.
Having Alear as a Wyvern Knight will allow for that, boost their movement, and give them more growth in their strength and defence stats. If you've got Alear to a level 20 Divine Dragon, you might as well give this class a shot.
4 𓄧 Yunaka - ꦜMage Knight
Sadly, Zelkov outclasses Yunaka in a big way as a Thief. This means levelling her is almost pointless unless you want multiple knife users. To make up for this, you can capitalise on Yunaka's above-average Magic growth to turn her into a capable and manoeuvrable mounted unit.
As a Mage Knight, Yunaka will make up for her lack of strength and benefit from the increased magic growth from the class, meaning she will deal more damage this way than 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:she ever would as a Thief. This lack of damage is something you'll notice if you try and use her in Hard mode; her strength stat never catches up with the enemy stat inflation.
3 ✃ Louis - Royal Knigh💖t
With one of the🐷🐼 highest defence growths in the game, Louis is almost certainly an excellent armoured unit and General. He remains useful to the end game, but you will notice that mages can break him in half with little effort.
To this end, you could consider taking Lo🌳uis down the route of Royal Knight. The growths from this class will round out all the glaring issues he has by default, like his low speed and resistance, to maybe give you a chance at him surviving being assaulted by the mages of the world.
2 🐈 Merrin - Griffin Knight
Merrin is too cool for school in her Wolf Knight class, but if you're willing to separate her and her wolf, you might be rewarded for it. Griffin Knights have brilliant resistance, avoidance, and speed stats, which will enhance what is already great about Merrin. This might still mean she lacks in damage, but lances are stronger than her daggers.
Unless you're using Chloe, you won't have another unit as a Griffin Knight. They are beyond helpful units, especially because they can use Staves like Physic𝔉 and Mend as well as more offensive Staves. Th♓is addition, along with better resistance growth, will let Merrin be more versatile.
1 Amber - Bow Knight ♕
For the most part, Alcryst will cover all the sniping and bow needs you will ever have in Fire Emblem Engage. But sometimes, one isn't enough for how many fliers they throw at you. Enter Amber, he's normally a mounted unit, but he wants to be a Paladin or a Great Knight. Alas, dear Amber does not have the resistance for that role.
If you can force Amber's dreams aside, you should consider making him a Bow Knight. He might well be the only one you have in your army, which is a decent niche to fill if you ever find yourself wanting more bows, but they don't measure up to Alcryst. The Bow Knight might help alleviate his resistance issues, or at the very least, make it so that he kills mages before they get to him.
