is certainly not lacking for side content. Every chap🍌ter unveils a new batch, and at the tail end of Chapter 7, one such side quest, 'Of Robed Men and Ransoms’, becomes avai﷽lable. Dr. Sheiran has received a letter, and he really needs your help to get to the bottom of this.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebi🀅rth: Rendezvous In Costa Del Sol Side Quest Walkthrough
A date? And in Costa del Sol? Perfect!
Fol♋low our guide (just as you will follow Red XIII) to uncover the mystery. You will be tracking a scent, exploring a dark cave,🐬 and clashing with a few tough adversaries. Find every treasure while you are in that cave, and come out on top against those Death Claws.
Of Red Scents And Landworms
To begin 'Of Robed Men and Ransoms', either consult the Community Board in North Corel, or skip the middle step and simply arrive in Doc Sheiran's tent.
He will inform the party of a ransom note that he has received. It is up to us to sleuthඣ things out, or, mo🍸re precisely, it is up to Red XII to sleuth things out.
When you are ready to proceed, start to follow Red XIII, and he will lead everyone outside the town. Not long into your escapade, you will encounter an enemy called a Landworm. (Quite possibly for the first time.)
The La🐽ndworm is a dangerous foe. It can swallow up a party member, much like the Chapter 2 boss, Midgardsormer. Stagger it with Blizzara, and dodge the swallo🐽w attack as best you can.
Of Smoked Meat And Flashlights
The trail that Red is following will eventually lead us to some delicious smoked meat. This is not exactly what we were looking for, but it sure does make Red🔯 happy, and after all, isn't that what truly counts in life?
Helpfully, the owner of the meat will provide further directions that lead to a chocobo carriage and then a cave. Inside the cave, Cloud will automatically whip out a flashlight. Not just any flashlight, but a flashlight that can detect UVs.
Our goal is to follow the tracks that it detects, of course, but in classic RPG dungeon fashion, you should venture off course at every opportunity to acquire some cash as well as breakable b෴oxes fille🐷d with moogle metals and consumables.
Once the tracks lead to a wide open area, look around until you find an L2 prompt to utilize the grappling hook. The grappling hook will be our means of traversing this area.
Without it, we would not be able to open the shutters that the party will comment on when you attempt to interact with them near the start of the zo♕ne.
Make sure to follow the rather winding Grappling Hook route to the Binding Materia at the center of the room. If you don't have one already, consider equipping it now, as it should come in handy in t🅷he fights to come.
There's a real chance you can't get to the Binding Materia until you've pulled the lever at the end of the initial Grappling Hook route; we can't say for certain, as we didn't aim for it u🃏ntil then, but it seems probable!
Of Grappling And Deathclaws
Your biggest challenge here is not finding the right course. It is dealing with the enemies within. The Deathclaws move quickly and strike physically for high damage. Alas, the only way to stagger them is to evade their attacks.
If you are having a tough time with it, then try not to worry about staggering, and concern yourself more with staying alive. The Deathclaws have no notable weaknesses, but they are just as susceptible to being gradually whittled down as most enemies.
If a fight should last for long enough, do not hesitate to pull out the big guns, like Synergy Abilities and summons. Evade their strikಌes, and it will very likely not reach that༒ point, but still.
Locate the lever necessary for opening the shutters at the end of t๊he Grappling Hook route, which will also open up some more gripping grappling opportunities.
Of Dark Claws And Robbers
Hopefully, you didn't have a ton of trouble with the Deathclaws, because when you continue from the shutter opening sequence, and after a cutscene rather reminiscent of a famous duo of robbers, you will contend with Of Robed Men and Ransoms' very own boss fight against (wait for it) a Dark Claw.
The Dark Claw is in essence the Fiend Intel version of a Deathclaw. Not literally, but it is, as MAI would say, a rare variant. A rare variant that comes with all the perks of being more powerful and having more HP.
You can stagger it in the same fashion, but whether this comes easily for you or not, you should also deploy some status ailments. The Dark Claw is, for a mercy, susceptible to most of them.
Maintain your distance as often as possible, and don't forget that while Barret is best at long range, and Yuffie is not far behind, Cloud does have some long-range sword-based attacks of his own.
This time, those Synergy Abilities and summon opportunities are ever likelier to arise. Since there isn't really any particular summon whose element will aid you against the Dark Claw, might we suggest Phoenix? Flames of Rebirth certainly can come in handy as a last-ditch healing device.
With the Dark Claw dead and the kidnappers rightly frustrated by the party's heroics, return to Doc Sheiran for your reward. EXP, both of the character and the party persuasions, as well as gil will be yours.
But better than all that, Red XIII will receive a new manuscript to award him with some more of that e🍌ver elusive SP.
