Once you've done that, head past Toby and up the winding rampways to Condor Hill, where you will find Colin and a Bird Watcher at the overlook.

Speak to Colin, the elderly gentleman in the wheelchair, to hear his request to see the Condor one last time. Accept his request to kickstart the questline, having you find a suitable bait to lure the Condor out to Condor Hill for Colin. The section below will go over all the steps needed to secure the bait and get Colin his wish once and for🍃 all!

Dreaming Of Blue Skies Walkthrough

After accepting the Dreaming of Blue Skies side quest from Colin, you will be tasked to find suitable bait to successfully grab the Condor's attention, bringing it to Condor Hill for Col🤡in to see one last time. As such, Colin will point you toward the Hunting Spot to look for a cow.

Step One: The Hunting Spot

Your first step, as outlined above, will be to head to the Hunting Spot to track down a cow. You can find this area by heading just south of the Mogstool near the pathway leading to the Crow's Nest. Once you're near the cow, you will be instructed to sneak up 𒉰on it to capture it.

However, once you get anywhere near it, the cow will take off running through a narrow pathway, through the forest, out of sight and out of mind, off to a tremendous star🎀t.

Step Two: Tracking The Cow

After your cow makes a break for it, call your Chocobo with R1 and hop aboard it, then begin sniffing the area by holding Up on the D-Pad. Once your Chocobo catches onto its scent, it's off to the races to find it. Simply follow the scent trail to reach it!

Step Three: Combat

While the cow is at the end of the scent trail, so are three Ignilsisks, pesky little monsters that shouldn't pose too much of an issue for you. These monsters are weak to Blizzard and become Pressured and Staggered easily when hit with Blizzard-based Magic and attacks.

After dispatching them quickly, your cow will suddenly be snatched away by a fierce Mystic Dragon and taken far away from where you a🀅re. You, or the cow, cannot seem to catch a break, huh?

Step Four: Tracking The Mystic Dragon

Call your Chocobo to your side yet again and mount it to begin sniffing the ground where the Mystic Dragon stole your cow to have it latch onto its scent, then follow the scent trail all the way to a secluded and dank cave. As you begin to push further into the cave, your Chocobo will get scared, having you walk the rest of th🔯e way into the cave🅷.

Step Five: Fighting The Mystic Dragon

Once inside the cave, you will see the Mystic Dragon attempting to feast on the Condor's bait, forcing you to enter combat with it. Since this is a rare enemy, you likely won't face it again anytime soon, so we strongly urge you to use Assess on it for Chadley.

This fight can be a bit rough if you don't know what you're in for, but exploiting its Weaknesses and hitting it with heavy-hitting attacks will give it a run for its money, allowing you to end the fight pretty convincingly. You cജan learn more about it in the table below!

Step Six: Choosing Your Bait

Upon defeating the Mystic Dragon, you will be presented with an option to choose its flesh, the cow's meat, or Peculiar Greens as your choice of bait. No matter which one you choose, you will get to complete the quest, but the end result will be slightly different. The table below will provide more informatio🌄n on which option is the best!

Step Seven: Quest Completed

Finally, with your bait of choice in hand - preferably the Cow Meat - you can fast-travel back to Condor Hill and interact with Colin once more. Upon doing this, you will get one last cutscene, having the Condor appear in front of you after a nice moment between Cloud and Tifa. You will also get the following rewards:
