168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 is filled with iconic moments and characters, and Remake only touches on a small percentage of them thanks to it only covering Midgar. Many played through the reimagining eager with anticipation to see how 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Square Enix would envision these moments in the modern era. Now the sequel is only months away, the same conversations are taking place around Rebirth as it leaves the confines of Midgar and finally begins to explore the open world. I have so many questions, and with each new trailer and p﷽review, I only have more.

published an exclusive hands-off preview and interview with director Naoki Hamaguchi alongside its cover reveal, delving deeper into the diversity of the fantasy world and new additions set to arrive in Rebirth. This includes new settlements like The Crow&𝔉rsquo;s Nest and similar locations which weren’t present in the original game, offering opportunities to feature new characters and narrative elements neither present nor possible in the 1997 classic.

Some familiar moments and locations are present though, but have gone through a change or two, like the Shinra Cargo Ship that Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barrett, Yuffie, and Red XIII sneak onto in order to r💃each Costa del Sol. To ensure they arrive ꧒at the new continent and not suffer the wrath of their enemies, our heroes go undercover in sailor uniforms as you briefly walk upon the deck talking with fellow service members. It’s a cool sequence, mostly since I loved seeing characters having to dress up and loiter on different parts of the ship.

Red XIII struggles to walk because he’s a four-legged creature, while Aerith excitedly lounges around in the bowels of the ship giggling about having to go undercover in the first place. Barrett meanwhile is on the deck, staring angrily through a window to ꦕa confidential meeting between Rufus Shinra and Heidegger. Thin⛦gs are wholesome until it’s suddenly revealed that Sephiroth stowed away on board and brought a part of Jenova with him. Then comes a boss battle, and lots of dead sailors, before we arrive at our final destination. This battle has appeared in a couple of trailers already, meaning that once we arrive on the ship, it will more than likely culminate in a showdown with Sephiroth and his gross mutant mother.

However, it has been revealed that in Rebirth, the cargo ship filled with military personnel will be replaced by a cruise ship - presumably one filled with normal people soaking up sunshine and having a few drinks. A cool idea, especially if Rebirth intends to make the ship into a🐈 big location with side activities and new characters we might even spend a few hours with.

I will miss the political underpinning of interacting with everyday employees working under a giant corporation like Shinra, going about their day-to-day lives and sometimes barely interacting with Cloud if they’re busy trying not to get reprimanded. When we finally arrive at Costa del Sol, a number of them sprint off the ship and head right towards the bar or beach, ready to take a load off now the President isn’t breathing down their necks. Replacing that with what appears to be a perpetual paradise lessen♌s the impact somewhat, and expands a location unnecessarily in a game that already promises 100 hours of content alongside its 40-hour cam🍒paign.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Aerith and Cloud on a date

We won’t know until the game comes out, and there&r💙squo;s a possibility that Square Enix will try 𝔍to depict the same employees trying to prop up a leisurely arm of Shinra’s twisted business and act like everything is perfectly fine, when in reality they’re overworked and underpaid in order to please leaders who will never be happy. It’s similar to the Golden Saucer, albeit much less gaudy.

Expanding this small location into a fully-fledged vessel with new characters and side activities is incredibly compelling🃏. I just hope this potential isn’t overstretched or messes with the tone of this brief yet excellent sequence. Maybe I just love going undercover before then being forced to throw off the sailor uniforms and have a scrap. We haven’t seen enough of the new cruise ship in Rebirth to know one way or another, but Square Enix has made it very clear it isn’t afraid to reinvent large parts of the original game. I just hope they do it right.
