There’s a reason 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 is such a juggernau♕t in video games. It came at a revolutionary technological moment - the jump to 3D graphics and its staying power cannot be overstated. You may have skipped FF7 or, indeed, every Final Fantasy gam🍨e, yet you still probably know the name “Sephiroth,” and, more than likely, you know what Sephiroth did.

In the last few years, Square Enix has slowly been trickling out new Final Fantasy 7 content in the form of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7: Remake and its sequel Rebirth, and now the mobile game 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis. But does that mean Ever Cri💃sis is the same as the original game that captured our imaginations all those years ago?

There Are Similarities

No one could look you in the eye and definitively say that Ever Crisis shares nothing in common with the game it owes its existence to. Unlike Remake, Ever Crisis uses a turn-based combat system, much like the original, and even uses cute, cartoonishly proportioned avatars of the characters in the over-world. Of course, they look much better this go around - building bloc𓃲ks with eyes, these are not.

Ever Crisis also shares the cinematic flair to combat that the original FF7 did - where battles give you a more realistic version of the characters as they fight and defeat enemies. Of course, it doesn’t look as good as the Remake, b🤪ut it feels nostalgic for those who have played the original game.

No, Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis Is Not The Same As The Original Game

Final Fantasy 7 battle mechanic gameplay

Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis is a retelling of Final Fantasy 7 and its associated Compilation, but, like Final Fantasy 7 Remake before it, it diverges in key places to create a new narrative. A♓s it stands, Ever Crisis only co꧂vers the Midgar section of Final Fantasy 7 - much like its predecessor in Remake.

That doesn’t mean it’s the same game as Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Think of it as a new iteration on the classic - something parallel to Remake and Rebirth while maintaining a different vibe and expanding on the world. It offers new stories that focus on different characters - including one that features Sephiroth as a younger man, and, mo💙re shockingly, with short hair.

Ever Crisis, however, cuts out some of the smaller moments of Final Fantasy 7, streamlining the story and hitting all the major plot points or memorable moments. Unlike the original or Remake, t🅠here’s no room for exploration and tiny side stories. Instead, they’re only playing the hits.

As a gacha game, Ever Crisis also won’t let you speedrun the story - unless you want to pay for it. Sure, there are cool drops, and yeah, dressing up your party is cool, but this is probably not the idea🌠l way to engage with the world of Final Fantasy 7 for the first time.

Plus, the game is being launched in installments - meaning you won’t even get that far into the story of FF7 before having to wait. If you want the full Final Fantasy 7 experience, the original game is available on pretty much every platform, including mobile. It’s 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:probably much easier t🐷o 🔴just play the original game - weathered, though it may be. And cheaper in the long run, too.

But, if you're okay with waiting, and you're hungry for the new content that Ever Crisis has to offer, it is free to download.
