After working your way through Hugo Kupka's personal base, built around Dhalmekia's Mothercrystal, Drake's Fang, it becomes apparent that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 16 is not done with the man just yet. What? You thought you'd get away without fighting Titan himself? Alas, no, you're in for a long battle with the Eikon of Earth.

RELATED: 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 16: How To Beat Hugo

Hugo has more tricks up his sleeve than he did in your previous clash with him, and this fight throws a lot at you. Entire boulders, at some points! It's a war of attrition, but Clive and Ifrit have the tools to win the day.

First Phase

Final Fantasy 16 - Titan Battle

You'll be in Ifrit form for this entire fight, so take a moment to reacquaint yourself with the Eikon's moves. Key things to remember are that you have a fantastically powerful movement ability in Wildfire, which often proves more useful than dodges, and that you are limited to only six healing items (Firelights) throughout the w𒉰hole battle. ꦅUse them sparingly if you can.

The first phase of this fight is a straight-up battle against Hugo in his Titan form. He's a massive target, but you're far more agile, so you do have the edge.

The table below lists Titan's attacks and how to avoid them. Largely, though, they're very slow and well-telegraphed, so a last-second Precision Dodge or a safety-conscious ꦉWildfire away from Titan will serve you well.

Attack

Description

Geocrush

This is not like Hugo's version of this move. When this pops up, Titan will throw himself at you and come crashing to the ground. This attack has a large radius.

If you can time a good Precision Dodge, this is a great move to exploit for⛎ an easy Backdraft combo, as Titan will 🎉be stunned for a little bit after using this.

Two-Step

Titan makes two stomping attacksꦆ in your direction, one after another.

When you see Tit🐓an start to make very large steps at you, be ready to dodge to the sides.

Overhead Slam

Titan jumps at you slowly and then slams the ground with his fist. Therཧe is also a version of this attack without the jump - Titan simply punches the ground.

T🐭his attack i♍s so slow that you should never get caught by it.

Voice of the Land

Titan screams, stunning you for a second. Th𒐪is is followe🍃d by some bursts of stone appearing underneath you.

This is only really dangerous if Titan uses it when you're right next to him, making it hard to see the attack fully. Simply dodge out of the telegraphed stone bursts.

Kick

Ex🐼ac🥀tly what it sounds like, Titan makes a kicking attack at you.

This one can be difficult to notice if the camera angle is funky, but this is still a slow-enough attack that you should have no problem avoiding it unless you're caught in the middle of an attack of your own.

Boulder Throw

After leaping away from you, Titan 𓃲will throw two boulders at you from afar, wrenched 𓆉from the ground.

Usi💜ng Wildfire and zooming to the side is the cleanest way to avoid this attack꧅.

Rush

Titan makes a 💝charging attack, often heading through or right past you if the attack misses.

This is a surprisingly quick a⛦ttack for this boss, so be ready t🐽o dodge out of the way when it begins.

Earthshaker

Titan slams tꦿhe ground, causing crystals to erupt in a line across the battlefield.

When this attack is used, the best way to avoid it is to stop what you're doing and use Wildfire to dodge to the side.

Stripmine

Titan summons massive stones to erupt in a wide 💝area in front of him.

If you're in front of Titan when he uses this, dodge to the back. Otherwise, use this as an opportunity to get some free hits in.

It's not a bad idea to play very offensively against Titan. His attacks are varied but largely easily avoided, and once you have his attack patterns down to a cert𓂃ain extent, you should be able to handle the fight very easily. Just avoid getting too greedy for complete combos if you can see an incoming attack.

After dealing enough damage to Stagger Titan once, he will leap out of the arena to a nearby ledge and start pelting you with consecutive Boulder Throw attacks. Avoid them as best as you ♏can and wait out the attack.

Eventually, a cutscene will play in which you learn Brimstone. Read the tutorial, and then immediately use Brimstone after closin🃏g it to avoid dam🌊age from the massive rock that Titan has thrown at you.

From now on, you should be using Brimstone as soon as it recharges. It will deal very high damage if you can time its char𒁏ge to the right zone.

After getting Titan to a very low health level, likely after a second Stagger, another cutscene will begin. This fight isn't close to over.

Second Phase

Final Fantasy 16 - Titan on-rails segment

After the cutscene, you'll be back outside and very far from Titan. You'll also be on rails for this segment, so don't worry about heading forward, just worry about dodging Titan's incoming attacks.

There♑ are two hazards to deal with dur🉐ing this phase:

  • Boulders that appear on the road.
  • Boulders thrown at you by Titan.

Move Ifrit out of the path of the boulders on the road, and keep mashing the Fireball button to take care of the boulders being thrown at you. You don't have to worry too much about aiming; Ifrit's fireball has decent tracking.

It is a good idea to align yourself with the flying boulders to help the fireballs a little.

After dealing with this road for a while, another cutscene plays, and you'll be running along Titan's whiplike appendages instead. This is a more hectic, difficult version of the previous on-rails section. You'll have to deal with yet more thrown boulders, along with crystals that burst up from the ground that don't give you as much warning as the boulders did.

Remember that you can use evade to quickly get some horizontal distance, which can be all you need to avoid a sudden crystal burst. You cannot destroy these crystals with fireballs.

After surviving this on-rails segment, another cutscene will play out that involves a Cinematic Clash. Afterward, you'll begin the third phase of the fight.

Third Phase

You'll spend this phase on a rocky platform, on the level with Titan's head. From time to time, Titan will make one of a few attacks at you. The key to this part of the fight is to avoid these attacks but then immediately retaliate by attacking whatever Titan attacked you with.

The table below lists each type of at𝄹tack Titan can make hereꦰ, and how best to avoid and retaliate.

Attack

Description

Claw

Titan grabs the rocky 🎃platform and sinks his nails into it. This will summon a burst of crystals underneath you.

Stay out of the yellow danger zone as Titan's hand drops and then be ready to dodge the sudden burst of crystals. Then, attack Titan's hand before it gets pulled away.

Punch

Titan makes a punching attack at one side of the platform, h♔is arm gliding past it.

This is an easy one to dodge - just stay out of the yellow danger zone. Attack Titan's arm as it moves past you.

Slap

Titan opens his palm and attempts to slap you.

You can dodge right through Titan's finger to avoid this and get an easy Precision Counter in. However, this attack is the hardest to get some real damage from.

Slam

Titan slams his closed fist directly on th𝓀e platform, creating a massive shockwave. He will use this attack twice in a row, targeting both💖 edges of the platform.

🎉Get out of the yellow danger zone, jump cleanly over the shockwave, and then dash into the fist to attack.

In addition to these attacks, Titan can also make some ranged attacks. The first involves him throwing a handful of rocks at you, and the second is called Granite Rain, and creates damaging zones on the platform. Despite the small area you have to work with, it should be qui🌳te easy to adapt and react to these 💜attacks as they come out.

Every time you Stagger Titan, you'll be faced with a cinematic sequence in which you'll deal significant damage to him. After a few of these, you'll progress to the next phase.

Fourth Phase

Final Fantasy 16 - The shooter segment of Titan Lost

This phase begins with Ifrit hanging on to Titan and plays out like a shooter. The only goal here is to aim the targeting reticle with the left stick at the boulders being thrown at you, and destroy them using your fireballs.

After dealing with a few of these boulders, another cinematic sequence plays out, in which you'll need to with a Cinematic Clash against Titan. And thus, you'll enter the fifth and final phase of this hellish gauntlet.

Fifth Phase

Final Fantasy 16 - The falling segment of the Titan fight

You and Titan will be falling eternally in this phase of the fight. You can still move ♍horizontally as if you had ground to walk on, but it can be dif♊ficult to tell how far away from the boss you are.

Apart from the infrequent ranged attacks, signified by Titan scraping some rocks from the wall to throw at you, all of Titan's attacks during this phase are simple melee attacks. You can dodge in anജy direction to easily avoid these.

Be especially wary of Titan's overhead slamming attack, which he'll usually use after closing the gap between the pair of you. This deals a ton of damage, and avoiding it should be your top priority.

A good strategy is to start charging up Brimstone when Titan is far away from you - that way, even if he does dash at you and use his overhead attack, you'll be immune to damage.

After dealing enough damage, Titan will start using Earthshaker. This will cause a row of huge crystals to erupt from the wall to your side. Try to Precision Dodge your way through this if you can, using your dodge's invincibility frames to avoid damage.

Once you lower his health enough, a final cinematic sequence will play out. Successfully complete the prompts, and you'll slay Titan once and for all.

Your rewards for beating Titan and surviving th🦄is gauntlet are as follows:

Experience

2,000

Ability Points

300

Gil

5,000

Spoils

Earthen Fury x2, Wyrrite x40
