That's about as big of a tease as it gets, though it ultimately remains to be seen when a port could come to the console, and if it will be limited to just the Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch Has Quickly Become A Hub For Final Fantasy
With the release of FF16 on Xbox, the console hasܫ become essentially the only platform where players can experience all the mainline games, save for Final Fantasy 11, which isn't accessible to begin with.
That said, the Switch also deserves some spotlight when it comes to the legendary JRPG franchise. Again, outside 11, the handheld is only missing 13 and 15, 💮which could obviously change pretty quickly. , with the other trilogy titles likely to follow down the line.
In other words, a port to the Switch makes a ton of sense. The only thing that could hold it back is the reported poor sales of FF16 on Xbox, which might cause Square to think twice about whether it's worth the investmen🔴t. Either way, in Yoshi-P we trust.
