168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 16 continues🐻 Square Enix’s storied series and includes several changes that have ignited a debate among fans if this is a “real Final Fantasy game.” While the debate enthusiasts wrestle with that unnecessary dilemma, let’s take a look at Eikons.
Each Final Fantasy game features a special ability to summon powerful creatures to cause high amounts of damage. Final Fantasy 16 transformed that concept and implemented it as a main part of the story𒁃, with characters fully embodying these mythical entities. We examine all the important information about Eikons and how they influence Final Fantasy 16’s story.
What Are Eikons?
In Final Fantasy 16, Eikons are the Summons that Final Fantasy fans have experienced throughout the series but are controlled by actual hosts. The people of Valisthea fear and worship these god-like beings as they are 🅷used by theﷺ various kingdoms as instruments of war.
The 🌳term “Eikon” is derived from the Ancient Greek word for “image” and is an alternate version of the word “icon.”
Eight Eikons exist in Valisthea: Ifrit, Phoenix, Shiva, Titan, Garuda, Ramuh, Bahamut, and Odin. Each of the Eikons represents an element, such as wind or lightning; however, there are two Eikons of fire and no Eikons of water. Ph🀅oenix and Ifrit are both the Eikons of Fire, while Leviathan, the Eikon of water, disappeared several years ago, and their loca♚tion is unknown.
Eikons are composed of Aether, the life force of Valisthea and the origin of magic in Final Fantasy 16. The presence of Aether is typically invisible, but mass quantities of it will give off a blue fog in the environment. Eikons can heal themselves by absorbing more Aether and even have the potential to regen🗹erate any lost limbs.
Dominants
The individuals who are bestowed with the power of Eikons are known as Dominants. Throughout Valisthea, Dominants are either praised and treated like royalty or shackled and controlled like slaves. When a Dominant summons the power of their Eikon, the being towers over regular humans and can decimate armies within an instant.
The more Dominants use their Eikon abilities, the faster their life fo🦩rce is drained by the Aether.
The Rosfield royal family is known to harness the power of the Phoenix, though the eldest son, Clive, did not receive this blessing. Instead, it was inherited by his younger brother, Joshua. However, during the assassination attempt at Phoenix Gate, Clive awakened a second Eikon of fire, Ifrit.
Although each Dominant controls their specific Eikon, Clive possesses the ability to absorb other Eikons and use multiple elemental powers. By absorbing the Eikon,ไ he strips the incumbent Dominant of their Eikon power, and they&rsqu♏o;re left mostly powerless.
