The Labyrinth of the Ancients is a level 50 Alliance Raid in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 14, and the first raid in the Crystal Tower🃏 series. After teaming up with Cid and the members of NOAH, you are tasked♏ with breaking through the security of the Crystal Tower to enter the dungeon proper and discover its secrets. To do that, you will need to overcome the Labyrinth of the Ancients.
Unlike other 24-player Alliance Raids, the Crystal Tower series is mandatory for main story progression, so you'll have to do it sooner or later if you want to continue into Shadowbringers. Below, 𒉰you can find everything to know about this raid, including each boss and their attacks and mechanics.
The Labyrinth of the Ancients is heavily outdated content, so we've detailed the mechanics you ꧂are most likely to see in normal play.
Pools of Oblivion
The first part of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is a series of three rooms with a variety of enemies waiting in them. As you fight these enemies, purple liquid will raise from the ground, dealing damage to players standing in it. Move to one of the glowing green platforms to avoid this liquid.
Battle your way through ✨these three rooms, and before you know it, you'll be at the first boss.
Bone Dragon
The first boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is the Bone Dragon. This boss appears in a large circular arena, with green platforms similar to the area before. These are used in the same way, too. Stand on the green platforms throughout the fight to avoid the rising purple liquid.
The Bone Dragon itself doesn't have a lot to it. After defeating it, it will resurrect itself a few times, but it doesn't use any difficult attacks. However, throughout the fight, Platinals will spawn and attack players. When these die, their bones will stay in place for a few seconds before resurrecting and running toward the Bone Dragon. When they reach the boss, they will explode, dealing damage to all raid members.
When enough Platinals explode at the same time, you may take more damage than you can handle. To avoid this situation, some players should drag the Platinals away from the Bone Dragon. This way, when they revive, you have enough time to quickly kill them again before they reach the Bone Dragon, thus saving you from an explosion. This whole process will repeat a few times until the Bone Dragon is defeated for good.
Atomos
The second boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is a set of three Atomos. For this fight, you will split into three different lanes depending on your Alliance letter. Alliance A goes to the left, Alliance B to the middle, and Alliance C to the right.
Don't start this fight until everyone is split and sorted correctly.
At first, Atomos will be protected by a barrier. To remove this barrier, at least four players need to stand on the panel near the entrance to the arena. However, when activated, this panel actually drops the barrier of a different Alliance's Atomos. Because of this, all three Alliances need to work together to keep each team's barrier down.
While four players are standing on the panel, the other four will attack Atomos. Typically, ranged characters should stay back on the panel, while melee players attack Atomos. Various enemies will spawn, but these have low health and can be downed in a few attacks. Focus on killing Atomos, then wait for the other Alliances to finish. Remember to stay on the panel until all Alliances have killed their Atomos.
Thanatos
The third boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is Thanatos. As this fight begins, one of the three Magic Pots that are positioned around the edges of the arena will grant Alliance A the Astral Realignment buff. This buff reduces the amount of damage you deal, but enables you to hit ghostly enemies, like Thanatos. This buff will then rotate to the other two Alliances after it expires.
The Alliance that has the Astral Realignment buff should focus entirely on damaging Thanatos, while members of un-buffed Alliances should protect the Magic Pots from the various enemies that spawn. If all three Magic Pots are destroyed, the buff will no longer be applied, and you won't be able to kill Thanatos.
There aren't too many attacks to worry about here, so just remember the basics. If you have the buff, attack Thanatos. If you don't have the buff, kill the adds. Simple!
Allagan Bomb
The Allagan Bomb is the fourth boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients. This is another split encounter, in which each Alliance will take on a Vassago enemy. The Tank of each Alliance should face this enemy toward the outer edge of the arena to avoid hittinܫg other players with its large cleave attacks. The Vassago are tethered to the Allagan Bomb, making it immune to damage.
While you are fighting the Vassago, several enemies will spawn, such as Allagan Balloons and Napalmꦛ. Kill these when they appear before returning your attention to the ꧟Vassago.
When all three Vassago have been killed, the Allagan Bomb will 🎀be vulnerable, and you can make quick work of ꦺit.
King Behemoth
The fifth boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is King Behemoth. Throughout the fight, several players will be targeted with a green marker that drops a comet on their position, dealing damage. Then, Behemoth will use Ecliptic Meteor, dealing lethal damage to all players. To avoid this, stand behind one of the comets until the meteor explodes.
However, keep in mind that Iron Giant adds will be summoned throughout the fight. These enemies will attack with a large cleave that can damage and even destroy the comets. To prevent this, kill the Iron Giants before they destroy the comet you are hiding behind.
Phlegethon
The final boss of the Labyrinth of the Ancients is Phlegethon. This boss has several AoE attacks that it will use throughout the fight, but they are telegraphed and easy to dodge by moving out of the way.
At around 50 percent remaining health, Phlegethon will move to the center of the arena and begin casting Ancient Flare. This attack will instantly kill every player. To avoid this, you will need to move with your Alliance to one of the three panels positioned on the east, south, and west edges of the arena. When around seven players are standing on each panel, a barrier will activate and protect you from Ancient Flare.
When the barrier is up, an Iron Giant will spawn. Simply kill ไit to drop the barrier and get back into the fight.
Ancient Flare will be used again when Phlegethon has around 10 percent health remaining. Repeat the same process to create a barrier. Sometimes, if Phlegethon has low enough health, some players may opt to attempt to kill the boss before it finishes casting Ancient Flare instead of activating the barrier. This is risky; if not enough players commit to this play, then everyone will wind up dead. Only take the chance if everyone is on board, or you are confident you have enough time ♊to kill🍃 it.
With that, the Labyrinth of the Ancients is comple🉐te. Grab your loot on your way out, and don't forget to commend another player!
