A little healthy competition can spice up 🍒the spring season in Mistria!

Many of the villagers will request materials that are more in line with their profession.꧅ For instance, a random request that will spring up on the bulletin board will be one for Shards from the resident archaeologist, Eiland. Thi💮s guide details everything you need to know about getting and using Shards in Fields of Mistria.

How To Get Shards For Eiland

Shards are one of the Dig Site materials you can unearth from excavation points, which are round bumps on soft soil fou💦nd throughout the map, except on ꦛyour property.

The Western Ruins area, west of Thꦗe Narrows, holds th🍃e most excavation spots for farming.

If you're having a hard time identifying Dig Sites on the ground, you can change the in-game scale to one to increase your view distance.

Eiland asks for two Shards, and to get them, you'll need the proper tool. Either a Pickaxe or a Shovel is capable of digging up Shards from these spots, and you simply need to swing your tool at the Dig Site.

However, you won't always procure Shards, as you ༒might dig up other Dig Site materials like Sod, Peat, and random artifacts inst𒀰ead.

You'll automatically get a Pickaxe as a reward for completing the "Do Bro a Favor" quest, while the General Store sells a Worn Shovel for just 500 Tesserae.

To increase your returns in a day, you can spend your Essence to unlock the Western Ruins Scholar perk in the Archaeology tab at Caldarus's Shrine. This perk introduces an additional Dig Site in The Western Ruins, increasing your likelihood of acquiring Shards.

Balor's Wagon sells a variety of resources in Fields of Mistria.

Balor occasionally stocks a limitless supply of Shards in his Wagon, each costing 50 Tesserae.

You should check on his Wago🍒n daily as this presents an excellent opportunity to stockpile Shards or other resources that are out of season but be careful not to exhaust your money while you're at it.

How To Use Shards

Apart from turning in Eiland's request, which will reward you with a trivial 50 Tesserae for your efforts, Shards can be used in three other activities.

Dig Site Material Set

Shards are one of the materials that can be donated to contribute to the Dig Site Material Set in the Archaeology Wing of the Museum. The complete set comprises Shards, Shard Mass, Peat, Sod, and Clay. Completing a set will earn you valuable rewards like furniture, cosmetics, treasure boxes, and a ton of Renown.

Rewards are not fixed for each set; they are given based on the order ꦜin which you complete the sets.

Crafting

Shards are primarily employed to craft a variety of decorative furniture that spruces up your homestead. Early on, however, you'll lack the scrolls that teach you recipes for Shard-based furniture. You can acquire new recipes by improving the town ranking or purchasing them from the Saturday Market.

For instance, we got the scroll to craft a Haunted Attic Wall Shelf from Merri's shop at the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Saturday Market.

Selling

If you've got extra Shards lying around and see no further use for them, you can make some quick Tesserae out of them by selling them. They go for 5 Tesserae, and you simply need to place them in the shipment box outside your house.

It's not much, but it's certainly an easy way to turn those surplus Shards into something more valuable, not to mentio♑n the amount of Renown you gain from shipping out 💝goods.
