The night sky ligh✨ting up with shooting stars is a perfect time for a date in Fields of Mistria.
Unlike many similar farming sims, Fields of Mistria handles the dating scene a little differently. We'll help you navigate the blossoming romances all around you and sort🦋 out your feelings for your favorite single characters. Here's everything you need to know to start a romantic relationship in Fields of Mistria!

How To Start Dating An NPC
To begin dating an NPC, you need to make sure that they're single. You can check this in the relationship section of your journal. Once you've done that, the next priority is raising your hearts with them.
You'll need to get eight hearts total and have seen all the NPC's heart events. You'll get a letter in the mail telling you where to meet them, which will allow you to trigger the eight-heart event.
Go to the location to get the required cutscene. In this event, you'll have an opportunity to confess your feelings to the NPC. Select the pink dialogue option with a heart to begin a romance and unlock the dating status!
If you don't want to date, you can alternatively choose the 𓆏best friend option inste🍰ad.
Can You Date More Than One NPC?
Of course! You can date as many single NPCs as you'd like without any complications. There are no gender restrictions, so feel free to date anyone and everyone!
At the moment, ther🐼e's no way to break up with someone, so if you change your mind later, just ghost them.
However, while you can date every single available NPC all at once, you can only marry one person. Make that choice carefully! For a full list of romanceable characters in Fields of Mistria, check out our guide.
At the moment, marriage isn't in the curr൩ent build, but it will be added later as the game 🦹develops!
How To Go On Dates With Your Partner
After you start dating your first NPC, Elsie will arrive outside your house the next day to tell you all about dates. These are special events you can go on with yourಌ d🌌esired partner once a week.
However, since everyone is generally busy throughout the week, you can only go on dates on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, while you can have many partners, you can only go on one date per partner each week.
For example, you can take Celine out for a picnic on Saturday and March out for gem cutti🍸ng on Sunday.
The first time you go on a new type of date, you'll get a special photo card to display in your home. See if you can collect them all! Additionally, in late builds of the game, going on dates will give more hearts than simply giving your partner gifts.
How To Unlock More Dates
Elsie will gift you two types of dates when you first discuss the prospect of dating, but there are plenty more to discover! Below are all the different dates you can unlock by performing your typical duties and collecting Date Inspiration items.
