Remedy surprised us at Thursday's Xbox Showcase with an unexpected reveal on top of the expecꦡted Alan Wake 2 DLC release date announcement. Turns out the studio has been working on its first-ever online multiplayer game too, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:FBC Firebreak. Clearly eager for as many people to play Firebreak as possible, the multiplayer shooter will be coming to both 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Game Pass and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation Plus on day one.
Since Firebreak was revealed during an Xbox Showcase, the trailer didn't make any mention of it coming to PS5. We might have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sea Of Thieves ♑on PlayStation now, but the console war isn't over yet. A trailer shared after the Showcase confirmed that Firebreak will be available on PS5 and Steam, and a press release (thanks, ) that accompanied it confirmed a day one arrival on the competing subscription services.

PlayStation revamped PS Plus in 2022 so that it more closely resembled Xbox's Game Pass model, although it still doesn't - and likely never will - offer up its first-party titles to subscribers on day one, even if you have Premium. It does occasionally have th♚ird-party games on Extra and Premium day one though, but developers usually have to choose between Game Pass or Plus. FBC Firebreak will be a very rare example of a game arriving on both services the day it's released.
As far as I'm aware, there has only been one other game to have pulled this off since PlayStation's new tiered Plus system was in place, and that's 2023's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sea Of Stars. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Knockout City also did something similar in 2021 as it was available on Game Pass and also given away as a PS Plus monthly game, but that was before the ser🐼vice had been split into tiers. The Control studio actually claims Firebreak isn't a live service game.
