Kevin Rian is one of the big bruisers in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. He's a quasi-grappler with access to big, jacked-up normals. However, he has a lot more to him than your typical big punches and kicks. In fact, he has some excellent combo routes. Especially since his light kick is able to link into his heavy punch. Even better, he is able to combo after his supers.

Here are some brilliant characters we want as DLC fo💜r Fatal Fury: Ci🥃ty Of The Wolves.

This guide will 🌌help you utilize all of Kevin's attacks, give you some insight into how to utilize his꧂ tools best, and give you a solid primer on his combos. Kevin Rian isn't the most intuitive character to play on the roster, but we'll show you how to land those big duffs and make the most out of his unique toolkit.

Kevin Rian Overview

Kevin landing posing by cracking his knuckles in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.

Kevin Rian's neutral game is quite strong. His far-reaching normals help him control space in the mid-range quite nicely. Not only are these attacks effective, rangy tools, but they can set up some pretty nice frame traps as well. Especially when paired with his Hell Rotor (⬇️↙️⬅️ + LP/HP) attack.

Kevin also comes equipped with chargeable special attacks. While these ar🐲e harder to work into combos, and are more telegraphed by design, a charged special attack does dramatically more damage and tends to lead to a better combo.

Kevin has a command grab, which makes his up-close pressure game much scarier. Additionally, his light attacks are able to combo into big damage. Top this all off, Kevin has a great overhead atꦰtack, and can set up meaty ove♓rheads on wake-up easily. Which makes him a tremendous threat when he's at close range.

Since he is so strong at medium to close range, it makes sense that he would be weaker at long range. Kevin doesn't have a projectile, so at full screen he doesn't have a way to fight back. What he does have, however, is the Avoid Mine (⬇️↙️⬅️ + LK/HK) command roll with projectile invincibility. Use t🧸his roll to wade through fireballs and close this distance.

If you input the roll command too late, you will get hit, as the invincibility is not on th🍬e first frame, unless, that is, you use the REV version of his roll🤡.

Kevin Rian Combos

Kevin has a number of potent combos at his disposal owing to him being able to combo after his supers. He also has the luxury of linking his LK into his HP, wh🍸ich immediately opens up some fantastic combo routes, including after things like a cross-up. Additionally, you'll notice that his HK is involved in a number of his combos, as it can be canceled in order to pop foes up and extend combos. So, you'll probably want to get used to canceling that kick.

Lastl🌜y, you are going to want to practice canceling his c.HK into his HP. Press LK + HP

Combos For Kevin Rian

  • Kevin landing his close HK in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
  • c.HK > LK+HP &♚gt; HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ HK > REV > ⬇️↘️➡️ LK

This is a tidy little combo that utilizes Kevin's cancels to deal some pretty solid damage without using any meter. Just make sure you cancel Kevin's Hell S𝔍nipe (⬇️↘️➡️ + LK/HK) early.

  • Kevin landing his spinning backfist in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
  • c.HK > LK+HP > HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ HK > REV > ⬇️↘️➡️, 𒅌⬇️↘️➡️ 💛LK > ⬇️↘️➡️LP

This comb🐼o doesn't requi🍃re the use of any REV meter. However, you can swap out these specials to extend the combo.

  • Kevin using his creeper kick in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
  • [Counter Hit] ⬇️⬇️+HK > HK > Cr.LP > LK > ⬇️↘️➡️, ⬇️↘️➡️ HK > ⬇️༒🔴↙️⬅️ LP+HP > ➡️⬇️↘️ LP+HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ LK+HK > LK+HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ HK

This is a big-ass combo. However, the majority of the damage will be dealt once you've done the Hell Rotor (⬇️↙️⬅️ LP+HP), so feel free to cut it short, especially if your REജV meter is running high.

  • Kevin using his fiery kick super in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.
  • [cross-up] j.LK > LP𓆉 > LK > ⬇️↘️➡️, ⬇️↘️➡️ HK > ⬇️↙✅️⬅️ LP+HP > ➡️⬇️↘️ LP+HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ LK+HK > LK+HP > ⬇️↘️➡️ HK

This is essentially, the same combo as the one you can get off of Kevin's Counter-hit Creeper Kick (⬇️⬇️+HK > HK), The only difference is you start it with a crဣoss-up.

Kevin Rian Tips And Tricks

Kevin landing his heavy punch in Fatal Fury City of the Wolves.

The first order of business with Kevin Rian is poking with his HP and HK. If you land a stray hit, you can then follow up with a light Hell Rotor (⬇️↙️⬅️ + LP). This won't combo, but if they press a button, they'll get counter hit. If you are in close, cancel from his c.HP to his heavy Hell Rotor (⬇️↙️⬅️ + HP). This is both an effective frame trap🔯 and an overhead.

Additionally, when Kevin is close, his LK will combo into his HP, which leads into his special attacks. Or, you can grab them with his Hell Arrest (➡️⬇️↘️ + LK/HK) command grab. This leads into a combo as well. When Kevin is chest-to-chest with his opponent, he's able to easily transition from a light attack into a heavily damaginꦡg combo.

Or, you can use his Creeper Kick (⬇️⬇️ + HK > HK) to land an overhead if they are crouch blocking too aggressively. This also leads♔ into a big combo if it lands as a counter, which it will often if you use it as your opponent is getting up.

In general, Kevin Rian has some pretty good Oki pressure, especially with his variety of overhead attacks and moves that are good for evading and punishing wake-up normals.

And that is the crux of Kevin Rian's game plan. Fill the screen with normals, and specials, fishing for counter-attacks. If your foe shells up, you can then start going for the command grab or the overhead. When you have them knocked down, set up meaty overheads. When you are effectively using Kevin, your opponent will have to thread the needle, and will often be forced ౠto hide behind th🌠eir guard.
