While your default equipment was adequate to grow and harvest some basic crops, you'll need to buy additional equipment and machinery to collect your grown cotton plants.

Cotton takes a long time to grow, and you can only plant it in March, which means that you should at least prepare two or three fields to have enough yield. Cotton neeꦏds to be converted into bales while harvesting, but a specialized Harvester will do that for you.

Preparations For Growing Cotton

Before you start growing Cotton, make sure to purchase the machinery you need at the equipment shop.

Cotton plants are harvested and converted into bales using a Cotton Harvester. You also need a specialized trailer to transport your cotton bales to the shops. If your tractor is unbalanced while you load a heavy bale on it, you might need to attach a weight at the front🌺 to balance it.

If you select Cotton in the packs tab inside the shop, you will find everything you nee𒀰d to grow cotton.

How To Grow Cotton

As with every other crop, you need to prepare your land and plough it using any Cultivator. Once it's ready, you can now start spreading Cotton seeds on it.

To do that, attach your seeder to a Tractor and then refill it using the seed bags you have purchased.

You can use Fertilizer🐠 and Lime to improve the yield of your crops.

The seed bag contains various seeds, so make sure that you have Cotton selected.

Now everything is ready, and you can start planting by turning your seeder on and then lowering it. Cotton can only be grown during March if you have the seasonal crops settings on.

Your crops will be ready to harvest in October and November.

To make a complete cotton bale, you need to harvest 20,000 cotton, so make sure to dedicate a field or two to only growing cotജton as you will need a lot.

How To Harvest Cotton

Once your Cotton is all grown and ready to harvest, it's time to grab your Cotton Harvester and take it to the fields.

Turn on and lower the harvester to start harvesting. Your Harvester will automatically turn the gathered cotton into bales and keep it stored inside. It will take a while to com💧plete a bale, but hang in there and run it on the entire field.

Make sure to t✃urn it on, otherwise a few of your Cotton plants will be d𓆏estroyed.

Once your Bale is complete, unload the Harvester, and it will take the stored bale out. Now you need a Cotton transporter to carry it to the shops.

Attach it to a Harvester and drive your tractor backwards till the backside of the trailer is touching the cotton bale. Then press the Operating Position button and it will automatically load the cotton.
