Fallout Shelter: How To Get More Bot♏tle Caps And Lun𓄧chboxes

Everyone needs more bottle caps and lunchboxes.

Your Dwellers don't even have to go outside to be 📖exposed to danger. It comes to the Vault in the form of incidents. These incidents can wreak havoc on your resources, while also injuring or killing the people in your care, so it's imp🌃ortant to know how to handle them when they occur.

What Are Incidents?

Screenshot of help page that shows what incidents are in Fallout Shelter

Incidents are events in Fallout Shelter where your Vault gets attacked by either enemies from the wasteland or a fire breaks out. There🏅 are some incidents that start early in the game, and others that get unlocked later.

There are seven different types of incidents. They include:

  • Radroach Infestation
  • Room on Fire
  • Mole Rat Attack
  • Raider Attack
  • Deathclaw Attack
  • Feral Ghoul Attack
  • Radscorpion Attack

Some incidents are triggered by a failed Rush Room attempt, but nearly all of them will happen randomly during gameplay. Because there's really no way to know when an incident will happen, it's best to be as prepared as possible, because an attack can happen at any time.

During an incident, the only Dwellers who don't engage are children and pregnant women. They will, instead, scream and run around the Vault t🔜o hide from the da🅰nger.

Effects

  • Damage to Dwellers
  • Inflicts small amounts of radiation

From very early on in the game, there are two types of incidents you'll encounter before reaching 10 dwellers. One of these events is a Radroach Infestation.

These critter attacks can be triggered at any time randomly, or as the result of a failed Rush Room attempt. Radroaches will come out through a hole in the floor and begin attacking any Dwellers in that room.

If they are not swiftly dealt with, they will move on to adjacent rooms until they're stopped. Thankfully, these little buggers are very low health and can be easily squashed by the Dwellers. This is good considering that none of your Dwellers will have any weapons this early in the game.

As you increase your population and your Dwellers level up, the Radroaches will become increasingly more difficult to kill, so it's important to start equipping your Dwellers with weapons as soon as you can.

Effects

Damage to Dwellers

Much like the Radroach Infestation, Room On Fire can happen in early game, and will trigger randomly at any time, 𝄹or when a Rush Room a🌼ttempt fails.

When a fire starts, any Dwellers in that room will automatically have fire extinguishers in their hands and will go right to work on putting the fire out. This usually happens pretty quick, but if left unchecked, the fire will move on to other rooms until it's put out.

If the fire starts in an empty room and you don't want it to spread, you can drag Dwellers into that room to take care of the fire. Once the incident is over, they'll go back to what they were doing before. The only damage a fire does is to the Dwellers involved. The rooms will turn black briefly, but once the fire is gone it gradually goes back to normal.

Raider Attack

Trigger

Random

Effects

  • Steals resources and Caps
  • Damage to Dwellers

A Raider attack is another early game incident, but doesn't unlock till sometime after you've obtained ten Dwellers in your Vault. The event 🐟is triggered randomly and be🌟gins at the Vault door.

When the incident starts, a group of about three or four raiders will begin attacking the Vault door. Once they break in, they'll then start moving through your Vault, stealing your resources and caps along the way. When they reach a room with Dwellers in it, they will stop to fight before continuing to another room.

Early in the game, Raiders will be relatively weak, using basic melee weapons and guns, and shouldn't be difficult for your Dwellers to handle. But as your Vault and Dwellers level up, so will the Raider Attacks. It's a good idea to begin stockpiling stimpacks and weapons as soon as possible so you're better equipped.

In these early days, we found it a good idea to have at least one Dweller per room equipped with a gun, at least until you're able to get more guns from quests, exploratioཧn, or opening lunchboxes.

Another safety measure you can take to help with Raider attacks is to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:level up the Vault Door. While this won't stop the Raiders from eventually getting in, it will delay them a little bit, allowing you to move your strongest Dwellers i🍒nto position.

Additionally, you can assign up to two Dwellers to the Vault Room for Guard Duty. But make sure they're heavily equipped with firepower, or they won't stand a chance. This is also a good practice for the incidents that occur later in the game.

Once the Raiders are dead, you can sometimes gain weapons, clothing, or a stash of Caps from them! This is one𒈔 of the best ways to get weapons and appare✤l early on in the game.

Mole Rat Attack

Unlocks

  • Normal Mode: 30 Dwellers
  • Survival Mode: 20 Dwellers

Trigger

Random or failed Rush Room attempt

Effects

  • Damage to Dwellers
  • Drains power supply

A Mole Rat attack is very similar to a Radroach infestation, in that they're triggered randomly or after a failed Room Rush, and they move to adjacent rooms until defeated.

The main difference is that their initial entry point will be in rooms that touch dirt, ജincluding areas you haven't excavated yet and the♔ boundary wall.

Mole rats are a lot tougher and harder to kill than Radroaches. If you're unprepared, they can and will kill your Dwellers. By this point you sh𒁏ould hꦡave collected a few more guns from doing Quests or sending Dwellers out to explore, so put them to good use so your Dwellers have a fighting chance.

In addition to the damage to Dwellers, they will also drain your Vault's power supply.

Ghouls in Fallout were once humans who's skin and body have been ravaged by radiation, making them appear to look like zombies. Feral ghouls, however, have suffered brain deterioration as well and gone mad.

Feral Ghouls will attack from the outside, just like Raiders. Once they break through the Vault door, they will sweep through each room looking for a ☂fight.

Dwellers who come into contact with Feral Ghouls will be exposed to high levels of radiation while also taking heavy damage, so it's a good idea to make sure that you have plenty of Stimpaks and Radaway packs on hand to keep your Dwellers from dying.

Thankfully, Feral Ghouls have very low health and will go down easy, so long as your Dwellers are equipped with decent weapons.

Radscorpion Attack

Dwellers fighting a radscorpion in the Radio Station in Fallout Shelter

Unlocks

  • Normal Mode: 50 Dwellers
  • Survival Mode: 35 Dwellers

Trigger

Random

Effects

  • Damage and irradiation to Dwellers
  • Drains power supply

Radscorpions are large, irradiated scorpions that pack a punch. When a Radscorpion attacks, it means business.

These attacks are random, and start very similar to Radroaches and Mole Rats. But that's where the similarity ends. The Radscorpion doesn't move to adjacent rooms like the other creatures. Instead, it'll move around the Vault at random. For instance, it could start in a room on the bottom, but move next to a room at the 🤡top.

They deal heavy amounts of damage and radiation to any Dwellers they come into contact with, so make sure you're stocked with Stimpaks and Radaway. They are also extremely hard to kill, so we highly recommend that every single one of your Dwellers is equipped with guns, because fists will not do it this time.

Radscorpions will also drain the power supply before you can blink, so make sure you have plenty of power production. I had the hardest time keeping my powe𝓀r levels in the green while writing this guide because I ke🐼pt getting attacked by Radscorpions!

Deathclaw Attack

Unlocks

  • Survival Mode: 35 Dwellers

Trigger

Randomly by the opening of the🎀 Vault door to let out an Explorer or let in a new Dweller

Effects

  • Drains food supply
  • A lot of damage

The strongest attack you'll ever experience in Fallout Shelter is a Deathclaw Attack. If you are not prepared with the strongest weapons, gear, and healing items, you may find yourself needing to restart.

These beasties are big and mean and can do a lot of damage. An attack is randomly triggered by the opening the Vault door 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to either let out an Explorer, or to let in a nಞew Dweller responding to ♈your Radio Call.

Moving Dwellers around to deal with the Deathclaw attack in the Diner in Fallout Shelter

Your Vault door is but an insult to them, and will be torn down in seconds. Deathclaws barge right in, moving through the rooms by smashing the floor out of the elevators. Make sure you have guards at the door with the strongest weapons you can find, and that every Dweller is equipped with a gun. Also be prepared to drag your Dwellers around to different rooms to deal with the attack as needed.

If you are not well-prepared for a Deathclaw attack by the time you reach 60 Dwellers, the Deathclaws will cut through your Dwellers like a hot knife through butter and steal all of your food supply.

We recommend expanding your stimpak storage in advance. One fully upgraded Medbay only allows you to store up to 25 stimpaks, but if you cඣreate more Medbays you can store m🐼ore.
