Say bang bang with this guide.

One of the most notable ways to improve the Courier after character creation is with New Vegas' implants. It's easy to miss out on implan🍒ts if you don't know where to buy them, but we've compiled a list of every implant, their abilities, and how to install them.

Updated September 1, 2024, by Andrew Scariati: Tracking down all New Vegas implants is infinitely harder if you're searching at random, as there are two major sources of implants you need to track down. We've listed all Fallout New Vegas implants along with their prices and locations.

If you want to acquire every implant in the base game, then you will need a minimum of nine Endurance in your SPECIAL stat – one point for each implant.

What Are Implants?

All New Vegas implants offer a unique ability or upgrade.

Some abilities are only available via implants, while others offer bonuses that ♋you could potentially earn through꧃ other methods.

Regardless of which implants you choose to install on your character, you'll be💟 a stronger Wastelander afterward.

How To Buy Every Implant

The Medical Clinic On The Map in Fallout: New Vegas.

You can buy every New Vegas implant in the base game by speaking to Doctor Usanagi at the New Vegas Medical Clinic, which you can find on the map above.

Doctor Usanagi is a member of the Followers Of The Apocalypse,ꦜ and she's the only person in the Mojave Wasteland that can install implants.

Upon𝔉 speaking to Doctor Usanagi, she'll sell you implants for 🌌Caps.

You can get one implant per each point you invest into the Endurance stat. For example, if you have six Endurance, then you can have six implants a🎀t a time.

The implant installation process takes three in-game hours for each operation. Below you'll find a list of each impla🏅nt you can buy from Doctor Usanagi.

Damage Threshold (DT𓄧) and Damage Resistance (DR) are different.

Damage Threshold removes damage (up to a certain amount), while Damage Resistance reduces the damage you take.

For instance, if you take 300 damage, DT 50 removes 50 points, decreasing damage to 250.

However, DR 50 would remove that percent of damage, thus reducing the damage from 300 to 150 (50 percent). Thus a higher DR is more effective when dealing with higher damage values.
