10 ♏ Benny's Introduction
One of the🅷 most iconic parts of Fallout: New Vegas is its opening cutscene. Benny's introduction instantly hooks you into the cruel Mojave Wasteland, yet it feels somewhat disconnected compar💯ed to Fallout 3's opening since New Vegas' intro is pre-rendered.
This wasn't always the case. Originally, Ben⭕ny and his gang were going to shoot the Courier and bury them in-game thr💦ough a script-heavy opening. Modders have rigged the remaining scripts together and have recreated the original idea. You can . With how rough and unpolished this scene is, it isn't surprising to hear that Obsidian cut this idea entirely.
9 Become 🐬A Great Khan ღ
Unused scripts and string names reveal that there was a cut quest that involved the Courier becoming a member of the Great Khans. It seems the quest would have required you to defeat a Great Khan member in unarmed combat. All of your items would have been sto🔯red in a locker beside the arena, forcing you to defeat the Great Khan with your fists.
Winning this fight would make you a member of their tribe. Considering♐ that the Great Khans have a reputation meter in the final game, many aren't surprised to hear that joining their ranks is a cut feature.
8 Rotface's Loose Lips 🐟
Rotface has one of the s🍰mallest yet most heartbreaking pieces of cut content for New Vegas. He is present in the final game as a ghoul beggar that grants rather lackluster tips, although it seems that this NPC had a dynamic character arc based on how the player treated him.
After donating a few hundred Caps to Rotface, he will obtain a cowboy hat after a few days and comment on his newfound riches. The quest ends here in the retail version, however, it continued into one of two paths originally.𒁏 If the Courier told him that it suits him, Rotface will become greedy and charge more for tips—eventually getting the confidence to mug you in an alleyway. Alternatively, criticizing his purchase and telling him that the money could be used to help others turns this character's motivations around. After a few days, Rotface will become a permanent member of the Followers of the Apocalypse and remain at Old Mormon Fort. Both quest endings are so close to being finished buꦜt didn't make it into the final build of the game.
7 𝓡 Sabotaging The Thorn
Players that disliked the Thorn's underground arena could have sabotaged the entire operation by hacking into Red Lucy's terminal, allowing you to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:release every creature from captivity. A bloodbath would have ensued with most NPCs inside the Thorn getting maule✨d to death. NPCs even have dialogue lines that reference this event but are never used due to the terminal option being removed from the game.
6 Cae🐓sar's Legion Attacking Novac
The Legionnaires stationed at Nelson were originally planned to attack Novac at some point during develop🍸ment. Dialogue strings and scripts suggest that players could warn the inhabitants of Novac that a Legion attack was about to occur. Players would then have to fe🐠nd off a small army of Legion soldiers to keep the town safe.
Alternatively, players that sided with the Legion could assist them with taking over the town. It seems either result wouldn't lead to much, likely why this was cut and replaced with the "168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Back in Your Own Backyard" quest.
5 The Legion's Territory ꦑ൩

What might 🎉surprise you is that those LODs used to be a zoꦍne you could explore.
Development for this Legion camp seems to be somewhat far as it developed navmeshes that Legion soldiers and slaves use. AI packages for the Legion's slaves are supposed to enter this location but instead vanish from existence in retai♉l. This pa♎rticular zone was likely cut for performance reasons since dozens of NPCs were meant to roam here.
4 🦩 Open Strip And Freeside
Both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 had significant issues handling 168澳洲🌼幸运5开奖网:the original versions of The Strip and Freeside that were shown in various E3 demos and trailers. These pre-release snippets of gameplay show The Strip as a single street that isn't gated off. Significantly more NPCs were also planned to walk amongst The Strip to make the zone feel more lively. Sadly, the performance of this ꧟zone was so poor that Obsidian had to downgrade the zone repeatedly to get the area working on the Pl𒁏ayStation 3.
Freeside also saw a significant size reduction, albeit evidence for this is based on files and not pre-release footage. 3 🙈 Ulysses Was A Companion

Ulysses is teased in many terminals and notes scatted throughout the Mojave desert well before the DLC for New Vegas was released. He was initially going to serve as one of the only pro-Legion 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:companions in the game.
Ulysses would have most likely been located at Wolfhorn Ranch, as files that reference the nearby caravan ambush are labeled as "VSpawnSpecialLegionRecruit03Ulysess." Little else is known about him; Obsidian scrubbed nearly every fi༒le pertaining to Ulysses in the retail build.
2 ✅ Primm's Cut Content ღ
It is no secret that Primm is one of the most disappointing and lifeless towns in 🍷Fallout: New Vegas. That is because this to🐈wn was going to have its own reputation system and a few more things to do.
The most notable change in Primm relates to the Vikki and Vance casino. In retail, it's a safe haven for Primm's inhabitants. Leftover files reveal that this casino was originally the polar opposite, housing multiple bodies and bloodstains of those that lived here before the Courier arrived. Entering the casino would trigger a rouge group of ex-NCR members to ambush you, allowing you to either kill them or convert them back to the NCR cause. Besides this massive change, players would have been able to recruit new sheriffs 💟for Primm if the currently elected sheriff died.
1 😼 Hoover Dam Epilogue 🤪
Fallout: New Vegas wasn't going to end after the battle of Hoover Dam. Obsidian wanted to create a post-campaign that would let players experience the consequences of 🐽having a certain faction take over tꦯhe Mojave.

NPCs would have commented on the winners of the battle and reference events that are only mentioned in the post-credits scene in retail.
