Not to mention, the protagonist's own life even comes into play. Is DiMA telling the truth about your past, or is it a manipulation tactic?

Honest Hearts was🧔 one of the more serious and emotional DLCs for a Fallout game. A 🍌scenic and lush location being fought over by various groups with different ethical concerns and moral backgrounds, it is a sort of microcosm for the Fallout universe as a whole.

You meet some pretty interesting and diverse characters in this one DLC. From the zealous yet infamous Joshua Graham, to the new-ag𝓀e Mormon Daniel, all the way to the war chief Salt-Upon-Wounds.

It's a unique cast, and it's through these characters that the balance of the Zion canyon rests. Does Ceaser's Legion unify them but ultimately take hold? Does Joshua Graham pervert the peaceful tribes with guns and war? Or do you try to find balance outside of it all? Regardless, the tribes of New Canaan are waiting.

4 Where To Send The Power 𒁃

The questline surrounding Helios One may not be the most exciting one out there in Fallout New Vegas, but it is one with a surprising amount of weight behind it as far as the health and power struggle of the Mojave's factions are concerned.

There are multiple choices, and it's one of the earlier large-scale moral choices in the game. You have a handful of options, ranging from places to send electricity to, turning it into a weapon, or just overloading it.

The choice you make gives someone the upper hand, whether it's The Legion, NCR, yourself, or just the people of New Vegas as a whole. Regardless, it's a surprising amount of weight for many who may not have even met all the factions yet.

3 𒉰 The Pitt En🍌ding

Fallout 3

The Pitt is a dangerous place to say the least. Poisonous fog coats the air, horrible creatures stalk corridors, and bands of slavers rule over indentured workers to make steel for the greater area surrounding. You wouldn't think it would also be the place for one of the more poignant moral choices in the games.

After rising the ranks, you get to meet Ishmael Ashur, the leader of the Pitt's slavers. Many players saw this as the moment to lead a revolution and change The Pitt for the better. Until he revealed his daughter to you, that is.

The deadly TDC that infects the people of The Pitt has finally found a cure in Marie, Ashur's daughter. From there comes one of the more difficult choices that you have to make. What is one life over thousands? What if it's the life of someone completely devoid of moral corruption? Regardless of what you chose to do, it's one that comes out of the blue for plenty of players.

2 Paladin Danse's Quest

Fallout 4 had a few key changes on how the Brotherhood of Steel operated in the wasteland, and many of those changes were revealed to the character by the power-armored form of Paladin Danse. Whether or not you agree with the Brotherhood's new ideologies towards synths, the reveal at the end of Danse's companion quest rocked players everywhere.

Staunchly set in his own morals, Paladin Danse was not afraid to let you know him and The Brotherhood's ideas on synths. That is, until it was revealed that he too was one. It was such a wild ride to see Danse go through all the stages of grief one-on-one with him.

Whether or not you chose to end his life or try to talk him into a new view of his own history was up to you, but 🍎watching him slowly come to terms with the fact that he was his⭕ own worst nightmare was something that definitely made it hard.

1 Harold An✤d The Grove 𝓀

Har♏old (and Bob) is a reoccurring character in the Fallout s♊eries. You meet him in both Fallout and Fallout 2 in various stages of his journey, before finally seeing the end-stages of his life in a Fallout 3 side quest.
