Once you've made the trek from Dark Hollow Manor to Research Site Saxony, follow Audrey, Hilda, and Oberlin's instructions to activate the first harvester.

Approach the lightning harvester and interact with it to activate it.
The machine will whir and power up, humming to life as your friends congratulate you on the activation, but there's another problem.
A large group of Super Mutants is descending on the lightning harvester; defend it for 50 seconds and this portion will be complete.
Make sure to draw t💜heir fir🌊e away from the Harvester, as it will be destroyed if it sustains too many shots.
How To Activate And Defend Research Site Bavaria
After you've finished defending Research Site Saxony, Research Site Bavaria will be marked on your map; travel there.
Shining Creek Cavern is the closest fast-travel spot to this site.
Once 💮you're there, activate the second lightning harvester and interact with it, but prepare🔯 for another fight.
This time, you'll be ambushed by Thrashers, the turkey-like enemies introduced in the Sk🎃yline Valley update.
Fend them off for 45 seconds, and the second lightning h💟arvester will be all set.
Now, listen to Audrey and Hiꦫlda once again and head over to the final loc♔ation.
How To Activate And Defend Research Site Rhineland
Research Site Rhineland features more of the same, with a third and final lightning harvester to activate.
Activate the harvester and ready your weapons for another 45-second onslaught, this time from a group of Lost who descend upon the harvester.
Once you've finished the defense, you'll hear a conversation between James Oberlin and Audrey Stolz, but they have very bad news.
The Lost faction is moving with Hugo as he has successfully gained control over every last one in the Skyline Valley.
After they deliver this chilling news, Gathering Cloud will be complete.
