13 ဣ Masco෴t Head

Resistances

2 Damage

The Mascot Head is one of the most fun pieces of headgear in Fallout 4. It offers the head of a bear from an old mascot costume, but it's partially destroyed, so it's possible to see the side of your face while wearing it if you're looking at the right angle.

Unfortunately, despite the Mascot Head's cool design, it doesn't offer much in the way of protection. You gain two damage resistance while wearing it, but nothing else. You'll find the Mascot Head on Bosco in the basement of the D.B. Technical High School.

12 M꧑ining Helmet ♔

Fallout 4 Mining Helmet With A Dark Background

Stats

Resistances

3 Damage

Attribute Buffs

None

The Mining Helmet is another headpiece that doesn't offer a lot of protection, as it only grants the wearer three damage resistance. However, it has a unique feature that makes it worth wearing in certain situations. Normally, in a dark area, you can activate the Pip-Boy's built-in light to help you see where you're going.

If you're sick of your flashlight being connected to your character's arm, then the Mining Helmet is a great choice to wear in the dark. It can be found in many locations, but it's easiest to find at Dunwich Borers due to the surplus of mining equipment.

11 🐠 Green Rag Hat ♎

A ragged, green hat with a dirty yellow brim.

Stats

Resistances

10 Energy

Attribute Buffs

None

Alright look, this isn't a helmet by aesthetic standards; it doesn't even have any metal. Functionally, however, it does provide head protection, in the form of ten energy resistance. That's not the best part about this unsuspecting rag hat, though.

+1 Charisma

One of the most unique hats in Fallout 4, the companion John Hancock wears the Tricorn Hat proudly throughout his adventures in the Commonwealth. Although it's the not the most protective piece of apparel available, it grants you an extra point of Charisma.

However, getting the Tricorn Hat is somewhat tricky, as you either need to pickpocket it from John Hancock in Goodneighbor, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:recruit him as a companion and take it fr🌺om his inventory. You can find a guide for John Hancock here.

9 𒁏 ꩵ Synth Field Helmet

Resistances

9 Damage, 11 Energy

Attribute Buffs

None

The Synth Field Helmet offers exceptional protection from the dangers of the Commonwealth. While wearing it, you get nine damage resistance and eleven energy resistance, which is quite a lot for a single piece of armor. It doesn't offer any radiation resistance though, so you'll need to get that from a different source.

Synths throughout the Commonwealth have a chance to wear the Synth Field Helmet, so keep an eye out for them during your adventures. There are many Synth enemies during the second half of the main questline, after you🐻 initially enter the Institute.

8 Captain Ironside's Hat

Attribute Buffs

+1 Perception, +1 Charisma

Captain Ironside's Hat is a unique piece of apparel you can earn in Fallout 4. It doesn't offer any protection, but it does grant you a one point bonus towards the Perception and Charisma stats, which is quite powerful compared to other hats in the Wasteland. It also only weighs half a pound, so it's easy to carry around without filling up your inventory.

While wearing this mask, you gain 15 bonus radiation resistance, as well as one damage resistance. For headgear, you can't go wrong with the Assault Gas Mask, both for radiation resistance and aesthetic quality.

You can obtain an Assault Gas ♏Mask by defeating raiders throughout the Commonwealth or purchasing it from vendors in the Wasteland. Armor merchants are lik𓃲ely to carry this item.

Part of the Nuka-World DLC, the helmet for the Spacesuit Costume provides well-rounded protection 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:for every damage type, minus poison, but you rarely run into that problem anyway. Although, you should probably stick with a hazmat suit if you're going into the Glowing Sea.

If you're having trouble finding a costume, run around Galactic Zone, keeping an eye out for mannequins that look like astronauts. Once you find one, just activate it and you'll have a nifty new costume with a surprising amount of protection.

5 Inquisitor's Cowl

A metal helmet with gas tubes, fitted, protruding pipes, and brass meshes.

Stats

Attribute Buffs

Up to +4 Intelligence

Part of the Far Harbor DLC, the Inquisitor's Cowl doesn't provide much damage resistance, but it does have an incredibly unique passive effect: for every 100 points of radiation damage you've suffered, you'll gain an additional point in Intelligence, up to a max bonus of four.

The Nuka-World DLC is fantastic for many reasons, one of which is because of i෴ts unique selection of new armor sets. The Disciples Armor is one of the most powerful gear sets in Fallout 4, and the helmet is no different. The Disciples Bladed Helmet grants you 14 damage resistance and 16 energy resistance.

If that isn't enough to convince you, then you can also take a look at its unique appearance, something akin to what an Uruk-hai would wear. Nisha in Nuka-World wears this helmet, so you can get it by defeating her and picking it up off her body.
