The central focus of the Coasts of Croakia DLC for is all on learning to speak to an🔯d befriend Critters, which you learn to do in the new region, the Archi-Pal-Igo Park. Head to the new region and speak to Lem, the owner of the park, who gives you a Critter Conch.

This tool allows you to speak to Critters, and you’ll learn more languages as you upgrade this tool to even better abilities. Lem has fou꧒r upgrades available for your Critter Conch, aജnd every Critter Conch upgrade is essential if you want to fill out your Almanac.

What Is The Critter Conch?

In the Coasts of Croakia DLC for Fae Farm, you'll receive a free Critter Conch the very first time you speak to Lem at Archi-Pal-Igo Park, the new region added in the DLC.

He'll tell you that by playing the Critter Conch while you're near a Critter whose language you know, you'll work toward filling a blue music note by keeping the Critter in the area of your Conch's noise.

Once the note is fully light blue, the Critter will turn around and int🌱roduce themselves in some way. When this happens, you have two choices:

• "Follow Me" convinces the Critter to follow you around, but be mindful that you can only have one Critter Companion at a time, so choose wisely.
  • If they follow you, they'll ride around on a broomstick when you're running through Azoria and Archi-Pal-Igo Park.

• "Goodbye" dismisses the Critter, and they vanish.

You can register one Buddy of each Critter species. Only one Buddy can follow you💖 around on a broomst🅷ick at a time.

Whichever decision you make, every Critter will leave behind some Critter Riffs, larger blue music notes that are critical for making trinkets and upgrading your Conch.

Learn New Languages As You Upgrade Your Conch

As you continue to befriend the Critters both at Archi-Pal-Igo Park and back in Azoria, you'll quickly realize that you can't immediately converse with every Critter.

That's because each Critter Conch upgrade adds more languages to your repertoire. By the time you've fully upgraded the Critter Conch, you'll be able to chat with any Critter in any region.

In all, there are five languages spoken by Critters in Fae Farm.
