And after grabbing a Critter-Catching Net from Mel, you’ll be ready to take a swing and take those bugs back home with you.

With a seasonal selection of Critters available at all times of day, in all times of weather in Fae Farm, we’ve kept track of all Critters in Fae Farm to see when they pop up and whatever kinds of goodies they may d✱rop as well.

Updated on June 24, 2024: Now that we've mastered the skies in Skies of Azoria, we're back to update some of our Fae Farm content to include the new information from the DLC. We've added some extra info about the DLC to our critter-catching guide, and we've included a bit more info about processing your catches, too.

Critters Change With Regions And Seasons

When you first get to Azoria, you'll begin seeing different kinds of bugs fluttering here, there, and everywhere around town. These are Critters, as the game refers to them, and it's not far into the game's introduction that you meet Mel, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:friendly local bug-catcher who offers your very first Critter Net so you can begin 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:working on your critterಌ-catching skill.

When you need to review your Critters, they can be located in the Critters & Creatures section ♋of the Almanac. There, they're separated out by similar types and which season they appear during.

Once you've got a net, you can begin approaching bugs out in the world (potentially sneaking up on trickier bugs to get the jump on them by holding the button to swing your net), and swinging your net when you're close enough in the hopes of catching the Critter. Critters you can catch will sparkle as you approach, so be mindful to get in range.

More difficult Critters may require more swings before they're finally caught, while other, notably rare Critters may be easier to catch with upgraded nets that Mel will sell you for a price of both Florins and resources. You also run the risk of scaring critters away if yo🎉u don't catch them, so be careful with where you're swinging!

If you'd like to sell Critters for Florins as a means of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:making some cash in the game, you're able to do so. If you'd rather save them for farming materials in a Conservatory, it's a great way to collect resources without having to hope for a bug to drop it. You'll need plenty of critters for making potions, making it a critical thing to level up 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:alongside your magic skills.

Be sure you upgrade your net regularly, especially as you begin to advance through the game and find rarer bugs more often. Don't be caught without the right tools! You'll see a popup if you attempt to catch a critter your net can't handle yet, with rarer critters limited to higher-level nets.

Critters will progressively drop additional loot upon being caught, as you continue to level up your Critter-Catching skill. The higher your skill, the more likely it is that you'll catch multiple critters in one swing. You can also eat critter-catching meals to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:boost your skills temporarily and allow yourself to catch critters above your skill level.

Skies Of Azoria DLC

Though there weren't new Critters added to Fae Farm with the Skies of Azoria DLC, you'll instead find that all the Azorian critters you've become accustomed to have new homes in the skies. As you explore the three areas in the sky, you'll find that critters from the region below appear on each of the three islands, corresponding w♋ith the region said town is above.

In Windhaven, you'll find critters that correspond with the ones you can find year-round in Azoria proper, such as in town or on your farmstead. The Starlight Isles are to the right above the Fae Realm, so espect plenty of mythical critters there. Finally, Howling Heights plays home to critters from the Mountain region just below.
