Command Your Legion To Glory

Darius, Execution is a Mind (yellow) champion unit that costs six en𝓀ergy and one power, has six might, and two abilities. If you’ve played another card bef𝓰ore Darius during your turn, you ready him when you play him. Additionally, Darius gives all friendly units at the same location as him +1 Might.

This is one of two champion unit options for Darius’ legend card in Origins, Hand of Noxus, which it has great synergy with. Your Darius legend can be exhausted after playing another card to add one energy to 🍌your pool, effectively lowering the cost of Darius, Executioner by one and allowing you to bring him into base, ready him, then immediately have him lead your troops into battle. Not only is Executioner a great representation of Darius’ character, but it’s also a strong, aggressive unit that helps the Darius deck archetype take shape.

Two Stunning Chase Cards Coming To Origins

Today we are exclusively revealing the epic rarity version of Darius, Executioner - a full-art card depicting a furious Darius raising Black Cleaver in preparation for an overhead swing. Legends of Runeterra players will recognize this card from the digital card game’s base𓆉 set. This 🐈is the art that was used for the Level 2 version of the Darius champion card. The artwork is credited to German studio Six More Vodka, known for creating many iconic images for both Runeterra and League.

We’re also revealing the alt art version of Darius, Executioner. League of Legends players know this version as God-King Darius from the Battle of the God-King skin line. In the Versus Universe, Darius is the god-king of chaos and carnage who seeks to cast the world into endless war and strife where only the strongest will survive. This art, credited to the League Splash Team, comes from the iconic Battle of the God-King key art that could be seen in League of Legends as a login screen during the event, and comes from co꧃ncept art credited to artists
