168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Solid 5 probably features the most notorious Hideo Kojima cameo that you're unlikely to miss as long as you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:complete the Side Ops missions. Side Ops 112, Int🌳el Agent Extraction, has you rescue Hideo Kojima from hostile forces, putting back on his special Hideo gear eyewear and recruiting him to Mother Base.
But even before The Phantom Pain, Hideo Kojima also cameoed in Ground Zeroes, a prologue campaign that had an almost identical Intel Operative Rescue mission where you must secure Kojima, though with the add♔ed fun of some helicopter action. Kojima would even appear back-to-back with Snake in the helicopter.
10 Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker 💫
Hideo Kojima was first created as a character to be a member of your staff in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. He'll appear in one of the trucks you can search through in the Crater Base Irazú facility. 9 Accurate Pre🔯dictions Made In Hiܫdeo Kojima Games
Ther💟e are probably more than you originally thoug꧒ht about.
The stats for Hideo in the menu will say he's a game designer and that "70% of my existence is made of movies," which is a direct acknowledgment of his film buff personality and the precise statement he uses for his social media bios. With how far it has come, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious branching narrative FPS RPG from the makers of The Witcher games, and its world of Night City, full of well-designed NPCs, has a surprise in store for you with Hideo Kojima. He's modeled after himself and wears cyberpunk-appropriate attire, waiting for you at the Konpeki Plaza hotel bar during 💃the main heist mission.
This cameo also combines a lot of things about Kojima's personality and goals as a designer. He's portrayed as a type of philosophical auteur in a cyberpunk space, explaining to others how he wants to enhance the braindance experience, even saying "I want my productions to convey real, raw human emotion." His character's name, Oshima, is also most likely a reference to Japanese filmmaker Nagisa Oshima.
There's additionally a Death Stranding Easter Egg in Cyberpunk 2077 for the BB, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:which you can learn more about here!
8 Metal Gear Solid And MGS: Twin Snakes 𒁏
In between the original Metal Gear and 1998's Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima also worked on a game called Policenauts for Konami, and posters of it are commonly seen throughout the Metal Gear Solid series as Easter Eggs. If you get a picture of the one displayed in Otacon's Lab, the ghost of Hideo Kojima will appear in a very creepy way.
Even creepier is the more obvious cameo during the fourth-wall-breaking Psycho Mantis fight. You'll see that one of the portraits hung on the wall behind the boss is Hideo Kojima. And in the Twin Snakes GameCube remake, this goes even further to have Kojima's head spin and laugh uncontrollably.
In the Japanese version of Metal Gear Solid, Kojima will talk directly to you during this scene and thank you for supporting him, if your console wereꦜ to have other game files o𒆙f his.
7 Death Stranding ไ

Hideo probably felt a bit inspired by Quentin Tarantino when it came to how he wanted his cameo to go in Death Stranding, a very different IP following his departure from Konami. The protagonist, Sam Porter Bridges, often gets to rest between his post-apocalyptic deliveries in a private room of a Bridges facility, where players can pan the camera around to stare at his body and get reactioಌns.

10 Small꧑ Details In Death Stranding We Love
Though the story can be confusing, the sheer detail in De♑ath Stranding remains unmatched.
What you might not expect, however, is a reaction from developer Kojima himself, who manifests as a BT from underneath Sam should you wish to zoom the camera up close on Norman Reedus' feet. And since Kojima was featured in Cyberpunk 2077, he, of course, collaborated with CD Projekt Red for a Cyberpunk 2077 event in an update for the Director's Cut, which brings his Cyberpunk cameo into Death Stranding as a hologram.
6 Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of💞 The Patriots 𓃲
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
The fourth mainline entry in the Metal Gear Solid series, Guns of the Patr✨iots puts players in the shoes of an ageing Snake and takes place in an alternate timeline in which the Cold War continued into the 1990s. The game introduced several new camera perspectives, including🍎 an optional first person mode while aiming weapons.

For Guns of the Patriots, Hideo again took plenty of opportunities to insert his face in the game, though in much less obvious ways this time. One cameo is visible during the cooking show commercial for 'Bomb Shelter Buffet,' where Kojima observes in the background as the chef and host complete the Siberian vulture pelmeni dish.
There's another ghost cameo from Kojima in the room where you find a Policenauts poster, but the most bizarre one can happen during the Screaming Mantis boss fight. As Screaming Mantis is destroyed and Psycho Mantis' ghost appears, a fourth wall break moment triggers and Hideo Kojima's picture quickly cuts in and out of frame as though he helped defeat the boss.
T🐲he Kojima cam𓂃eo during the Screaming Mantis boss fight can only happen with certain conditions being met.
5 ꦗMetal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 2 probably has the easiest-to-miss Kojima cameos of all the MGS games. The ghost cameo of Kojima in this sequel isn't so obvious as a Policenauts poster. Instead, you'll have to capture a photo of one of the projector screens in the room where Commandant Dolph's speech would play, which is quite the switch-up.
The other clever way Kojima found to insert himself into Sons of Liberty is through the dog tag collectibles and by having Raiden as a new character. If you play on the game's Extreme difficulty mode, you can collect a Hideo Kojima dog tag if you take out companion Snake in the Ascending Colon of Arsenal Gear.
4 Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions 🦹
The universe of Metal Gear Solid also has what are called Genola and Mecha Genola, which are extremely gigantic versions of your standard Genome Soldier in the Next-Generation Special Forces. These enemies are an obvious 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:homage to Godzilla, the kaiju character of whic💯h Kojima is a big fan.
The Genolas appear in select levels of the VR Mission expansions for the original Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. They make aggressive roaring sounds, as you might expect, and don't really communicate with words, but Hideo Kojima is credited as their voice actor.
3 Control
- Released
- 🐻 August 27, 2019 ౠ
- Developer(s)
- 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Remedy Entertainment
- Platform(s)
- PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series S, Xbox One
Like Hideo Kojima, Sam Lake is another writer, game director, and designer who thinks outside the box when developing Remedy's worlds and is influenced by cinema. With how creatively different Control turned out to be from anything Remedy has done, it's no surprise Kojima got a cameo. In return, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sam Lake would appear as a prepper ho𒆙lograꦜm in Kojima's even more mind-bending sci-fi delivery game Death Stranding.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Every Game By Remedy 🐼Entertainment, Ranked
Here are all the strangely cool games made by ꧒Remedy Entertainment, ranked.
In Control, Kojima is a doctor named Yoshimi Tokui responsible for guided imagery recordings that have out-of-this-world effects on listeners, initiated through a special machine. Dr. Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience is a side mission in the game led by the voice of Kojima with translation from his real-life interpreter, Aki Saito, Head of Talent Development for Kojima Productions.
Kojima's fictional name in Control, Yoshimi Tokui, is actually borrowed from a real-life Japanese comedian, who's part of a duo called Tutorial alongside Mitsunori Fukuda. Tokui is the boke of the duo (the silly one who misinterprets things).
2 Policenauts ♌
The first Hideo Kojima game to have an official voice cameo from him was 1994's Policenauts. Unfortunately, this is still 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a Japan-only PS1 game that didn't quite reach the West, like Metal Gear and Death Stranding. It's designed as a visual novel-style story with FPS elements about an astronaut detective returning to his former space colony to solve a murder.
In one of the action sequences taking place in the lobby of the Tokugawa building toward the end of the game, you're faced with an overwhelming number of foes around the environment that you must shoot. Just when you think it's over, there emerges one final AP Unit officer who yells out, "Surprise, asshole!" And that would be Kojima, who gets to attack you last.
