168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Escape From Tarkov: Arena had a bit of a rough launch, but has already come a long way. Battlestate Games has already done a lot of work to polish 𓆏this product into something much closer to their vision of a competitive shooter, but tꦺhere are still some things to be done.

The best early 🌸to mid tier choices if you want to wi♌n in the Escape From Tarkov Arena.

As it stands, Arena continues to feel more like a game mode for people who want to practice PVP in Tarkov, as opposed to a fully-fledged-out, stand-alone shooter à la CS2. The good news is that most of these issues should be relatively easy to solve, and will turn Escape From Tarkov: Arena into a great 🐲game of its own.

This list is numbe♚red, but not ordered in any specific priority. All of these changes would have a considerable impact on the game, but that impact would obviously change depending on your personal experience with it, which game modes you play, etc.

6 Allow Us To View Our Team's Presets

It's A Team Game, After All

Scout, Marksman, CQB and Assault presets in Escape From Tarkov: Arena.

The main issue with Escape From Tarkov: Arena is that it is not built with solo players in mind. The first item on our list is exhibit A: you don't know what your teammates are choosing for their presets unless you are on a Discord call with them and they let you know. This isn't a major issue on some maps, but it is on others. Maps like Air Pit and Bowl require you to have at least one person playing Marksman, but more than that will get you into trouble.

Not only is this essential for anyone who is not playing in a full-premade team, but it should be quite easy to implement. The screen for choosing presets is already there and can last for 90 seconds, just give us small portraits of our teammates and what preset they're hovering and eventually locking in, similar to what's done in a MOBA.

5 Voice Chat ♔

A Core Pillar Of Competitive Shooters

The Sound Settings Page in Escape From Tarkov: Arena.

Exhibit B of Arena forgetting that not everyone plays in full-squads is the enormous elephant in the room: there is no actual voice chat. You can communicate with your team via radio or proximity chat, but neither of these are a replacement for regular voice chat. The radio is filled with static and gets wonky when multiple people are speaking, and VOIP lets your opponents listen in too, so it's even worse.

Just let us have a voice chat that works as it does in a game like CS2 or Valorant, that allows us to talk at any point, including while dead. As it currently stands, playing a game while using the game's communication tools versus a team that has all members on Discord puts you at a massive disadvantage.

4 Have A Short Tutorial ✨

It's Supposed To Be A Learning Curve

Teamfight game-mode in Escape from Tarkov: Arena.

Escape From Tarkov has always been seen as a completely unforgiving game. The wiki is pretty much a necessity and if you don't have a second monitor to have it permanently open, you'll seriously consider buying one after a few hours of play. The thing is, Arena isn't Escape From Tarkov, right? It's supposed to be a stand-alone game in quite a different genre.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Competitive shooters are meant to be easy to learn, hard to master. Arena has an incredibly steep learning curve from the time you open the game if you've never played EFT before. A short tutorial going over healing, looting, ways to kill an opponent, and how the game modes work would go a long way to get people into Arena without them needing to go look for resources outside the game.

3 ꧂ Make ꦬThe Announcer Optional

Or Is It An Immersive Shooter?

Air Pit Map in Escape From Tarkov: Arena.

The announcer makes sense because of what Battlestate Games is going for with Arena: this is a modern, militarized version of gladiatorial combat. Of course they include crowd reactions and a screaming announcer. The issue is, this clashes directly with the competitive-shooter co🔯ncept. In a competitive game, immersion should never be the number one priority.

Don't you want to get to your dream preset as fast as possib🃏🍰le?

Even after all the reduction in volume that has been implemented through various patches, the announcer is too much of a distraction and a nuisance. There should just be a setting to toggle him on or off, letting the players make their own decisions regarding this. If you're playing the game competitively to rank up, dying because you get flanked during an announcer's voice line is extremely frustrating, and easily avoidable.

2 🦩 Custo🐭mizable Presets

Reduce The Chores

All preset loadouts should be customizable. It takes so long to level up the presets after a certain point that you will likely be playing the same one for hours and hours on end. Why is it, then, that you can't customize it at all? You can't even change the keybind of consumables! Just give us an option to change presets around in the main menu and save those changes permanently.

Having to rebind items, remove helmets we don't want, move magazines from the rig to the backpack, or vice versa gets extremely tedious when you have to do it over and over again. This system already exists in Tarkov with the stash and even loadout presets, so it makes no sense to have it missing in Arena.

1 Get Us Into Games Qu🦋icker 🍌

Less Downtime, More Funtime

The Bowl Map in Escape From Tarkov: Arena.

Having a fast-paced🌱 competitive shooter with so much downtime between games just feels wrong. The game is very fun to play and is clearly designed around playing multiple games in a row. Then why does it take so long to get into a game in the first place? After dozens of hours of play, our average time to get into an arena match is between four and five minutes.

With matches lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, having such long downtimes really kills the momentum of the excitement that the game itself brings. Maybe you're really pumped because you just had an extremely close five-four victory, and you want to get into another game as quickly as possible, yet you can't re-queue without going back to the main menu, and you'll have to wait nearly five minutes for your next match.
