How To Find A Game

If you have a character Re🌞membrance active, you cannot matchmake with playe༺rs who also have a Remembrance active.

How To Invite Friends To A Party

To play with friends, there's a little more work involved. Press R1 to navigate to the next tab, where you'll see a list of multiplayer options. At the very top is a prompt to "Invite Members". This is the simplest way to team up in Nightreign, as it allows you to party with anyone from your friends list.

However, if you have a Shifting Earth event active (i.e. Crater), your friend must have encountered that event, otherwise,🥃 you won't be able to matc☂hmake.

You can also generate a 'Share Link' to send to players who aren't on y🍎our friends list.

If you want to stop playing with your group, all you need to do is select the 'Disband Team' option. It's far simpler than fiddling around with summon signs, but it's 𝐆not the only way to matchmake. You can also use passwords.

How To Use Passwords

You can find the 'Multiplayer Password' option just below 'Invite Players'. Simply open the box and type whatever you want into it, and then tell your friends to enter exactly what you wrote. For instance, your password coul🍒d be "thegamer".

Passwords are case-sensitive.

Now, when you matchmake, you'll be paired up with anyone who has the same password. However, if you're in a duo and need a random third partner, you'll need to change the number of password players from three to two. This will ensure that there is one slot saved for your friend, and one fo🅘r someone in the general queue.

What Is A Group Password?

You might've noticed that there are five group password options. These are a little different. Where a multiplayer password ensures you matchmake with anyone who has the same prompt, a group password simply makes it more likely that you see bloodstains, phantoms, etc., from thos⛎e who share the same group password as you.

You can enter a multiplayer and group password, and they won't conflict.

There are a couple of interesting online features unique to Nightreign that this works in tandem with. The first are the white phantom Nightfarers, real-time visions of other players which, when walked through, restore your Arts Gauge. Then there are the red phantoms that are left behind by dead players, which, when examined, drop any armaments they were carrying.

Is Elden Ring Nightreign Crossplay?

PS5 players can play with PS4 players, and Xbox Series X/S players can play with Xbox♔ One players, but that's it.
