None are as reliable a Nightfarer as in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring Nightreign. With Guardian at any team's back, you can consider yourself protected, secure, and ready to face any enemy head-on (or at least Guardian can do the head-on part). He is a defensive unit ♛meant to hold back the tide and create openings for the rest of the team.

Here's how to play as a Recluse Nightfarer in El🐎den Ring Nightreign.

His skills are all about crowd control, stagger, and soaking up da💟mage. Breaking through Guardian's iron walls will take more than numbers, and beasts that try to overpower him with their size may find that one of the greatest foes to face on the battlefield is gravity and a 120-kilogram giant bird.

There is no team safer than those under the masterful protection of Guardian, the winged protector of Roundtable Hold. He is the masterful champion of defense.

With his great stats in Health and Stamina, Guardian is designed from the outset to be able to take a hit and continue using his shield. This comes at the cost of attack, however.

Guardian attacks a demihuman in an encampment in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Guardian's stats put him more into the Strength category with lackluster performance in Faith and Dexterity. Unfortunately, this means that Guardian's damage output can fall behind other Nightfarers.

Those who choose to play Guardian are typically those who are comfortable using shields and becoming a damage tank for other teammates.

Guardian Traits

Player looks at Guardian's traits in the character selection menu in Elden Ring Nightreign.

While some of Guaridan's traits might seem offensive, they are designed to perform a defensive purpose. Whether through crowd control or sta🍸ggering enemies, Guardian's skills are meant for 🐲cooperation.

His skills include the following:

  • Passive Skill: Steel Guard
  • Character Skill: Whirlwind
  • Ultimate Art: Wings of Salvation

Guardian has some oꦡf the shortest ability cooldown times across the board, even without Relics♑ included.

  • Passive Skill: Steel Guard

Guardian raises his shield against n attacking Leonine Misbegotten in Elden Ring Nightreign.
  • Guardian's passive skill is extremely simple. Essentially, it allows Guardian to better brace himself with shields.

When he is attacked by a creature while wielding his shield, he is moved back less (planting his feet) and uses far less Stamina to block attacks.

  • Character Skill: Whirlwind

Guardian uses his Whirlwind Skill on a pack of demihumans in Elden Ring Nightreign.
  • Using this ability allows Guardian to perform a whirlwind attack. This knocks foes up into the air, causing them to lie prone when they land for a second.

Most importantly, this Whirlwind deals damage to several enemies in the space around Guardian.

This is a great tool for knocking out mob fights, but it is also importantly used for staggering and breaking poise.

In boss situations, however, this won't be able to throw bigger foes into the air. Whilꦑe this ability migh🦹t not reach its full potential with bosses, this is still free damage that should be used when possible.

  • Ultimate Art: Wings of Salvation

  • This incredibly powerful Ultimate Art sends Guardian up into 🐼the air, dealing damage as he ascends, and then sends him like a missile down onto the earth anew.

This art deals an incredible amount of poise damage on those it hits. It can also:

    • Clear lesser enemies in the area he hits.
    • Be moved slightly to account for some movement of your target.
    • Grant Guardian immunity while in the air.

This art is best used against bosses to deal poise damage and potentially break 💞them for a Critical Hit opportunity.

Likewise, you can use this ability to deal large amounts of damage without risking any damage yourself and potentially clear bosses that are accompanied by lesser foes.

Best Weapons For Guardian

Guardian raises his shield against the Battlefield Commander in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Guardian is (thankfully) an extremely straightforward character. He is just a bird who loves his shields.

Before you go hunting for any weapons, you should keep in mind the sort of shield you want to use. The ideal shield will give him bonuses to his guarding abilities while also strengthening his Stamina and weapo𝓀n♒ attacks.

Parrying is possible with the Guardian with the correct Shield, but as his weapons will like🀅ly have poorer Critical Hit damage, it is not always recommended. Guardian is best simply guarding.

Guardian finds the Gargoyle Halberd in Elden Ring Nightreign.

As for Guardian's weapons, as he is not often the main attacker and doesn't deal damage very consistently, it is less of a priority than his shield.

When his shield is handled, however, the best weapons for Guardian usually fit these parameters:

  1. Has reach
  2. Scales with Strength
  3. Large enough to deal significant poise damage

With this in mind, the ideal weapons tend to be in the halberd, lance, and axe categories.

Guardian finds the Gravel Stone Seal in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Magic affinity weapons don't tend to scale as well with Guardian because of his low Intelligence stat, so weapons that have a Faith or Arcane scaling affinity perform better.

We also do not recommend using seals for anything other than th𒅌e potential passive benefits that they give.

Passive benefits that work w🌊ell with Guardian are those💞 that:

  • Give rewards for Guarding (such as healing for every successful Guard)
  • Increase Stamina maximums and recovery
  • Increase Health through any means
