The Mohgwyn Palace is a mysterious dungeon and location found in the Lands Between that requires some work to reach. While not as complex or challenging as the steps needed to reach Malen꧅ia, this area is entirely missable, which will likely be the unfortunate result for many players in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring.

Though it isn't a mandatory area of the game, Mohgwyn Palace is home to the Shardbearer Mohg, a Demi-God that you can take down to earn a hefty amount of Runes, a Great Rune, and his Remembrance. We do not recommend this area for low-leveled characters, and we strongly urge being at least Level 100-110 before trying to tackle it!

Updated on June 23, 2024, by Seth Parmer: Shadow of the Erdtree is finally here, meaning some of you are likely looking for a way to reach Mohg quickly to take him down and enter the expansion. As a result, we have updated this guide with even more information than before and adjusted the formatting to make it easier for you to get that information and take Mohg down in a timely fashion!

Necessities

Before setting out for the Mohgwyn Palace, there are two items we recommend grabbing that will make the actual encou🐬nter with Mohg 🐷much more manageable. Though these items won't trivialize the fight, they will go a long way to ensure you have the upper hand from the jump, and the battle can get out of control fast.

Purifying Crystal Tear

The first item we suggest getting is the , which will cleanse you of Lord Mohg's curse he casts on you during the encounter.

During the battle, Mohg will place three red rings around you, then follow it with a ritual that will drain your blood. This attack is rough to deal with and will likely be the death of many. However, with the Purifying Crystal Tear, you can cleanse the curse and eliminate one of the more annoying obstacles of the fight.

To obtain the Purifying Crystal Tear, you must follow Bloody Finger Hunter Yura's questline up to the to the Second Church of Marika168澳洲幸运5开奖网: in the Altus Plateau. The best way to reach this church is by heading northwest from the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace.

Mohg's Shackle

The second item we recommend picking up is , which will temporarily ensnare Mohg, allowing you to get several uncontested hits on him bef✱ore he regains mobility.

However, the catch here is that you can only bind Mohg twice per encounter with the shackle, and it can only be used during the first phase of t🐬he battle. The positive, though, is this item will allow you to save precious resources and get Mohg to his second phase much more consistently and faster.

Head to the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds in Leyndell, Royal Capital. Once there, work your way through the pipes until you reach an open area with several Stone Imps scattered throughout the room.

Make your way to the bottom of the room by jumping down onto a series of pipes leading to shallow water. There will be two giant lobsters down here, one to the left and one to the right.

Mohg's Shackle will be behind the lobster on the right-hand side, closest to the Leyndell Catacombs Site of Grace. We recommend running past the lobster, through the door to its right, and activating the Site of Grace before grabbing the item. These lobsters hit hard and have tons of health, makin🀅g it not an easy task to obtain Mohg's Shackle.

Reaching Mohgwyn Palace

There are two ways you can reach Mohgwyn Palace, with both being relatively straightforward paths that are easy to miss if you don't follow specific questlines or explore certain areas to their fullest.

Nonetheless, you can find both methods of reaching it below! Choose whichever way seems best for you as one requires you to interact with an NPC, and the other has you find a teleporter out in the Lands Between.

White-Faced Varré Questline

White-Faced Varré will likely be the first NPC you meet and speak with when you begin your adventure, but his questline doesn't truly start until after you take down Godrick and visit the Roundtable Hold. After you do that, you can find him at the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes, which can be found by heading north from the Folly on the Lake Site of Grace.

Once you speak with White-Faced Varré at the Rose Church, he will give you , which you can use to invade other players' worlds. Next, use the Festering Bloody Fingers and invade three random players.

It doesn't matter if your endeavors are a success or failure here. You just need to simply invade other players. After completing this♑ task, head back to White-Faced Varré at the Rose Church to continue the next step.

After invading three players, White-Faced Varré will ask you to join his order with Lord Mohg. Accept his invitation to receive the last step of the trial: Soak the Lord of Blood's Favor item with the blood of a Maiden.

You can complete this task in two locations. The closest one is in the Church of Inhibition, northeast of Liurnia. The other is at the Chapel of Anticipation, which is accessed by entering the second belfry portal at the Four Belfries.

Whichever location you choose, there will be a corpse of a Maiden you can interact with, which will have you soak the key item in their blood. With that done, head back to White-Faced Varré to continue the questline.

Once here, exhaust all of his dialogue to receive the Pureblood Knight's Medal. When giving you the medal, Varré will tell you not to use it just yet and wait for a proper ceremony for the Lord of Blood. However, we're here to take Mohg down, so open your inventory and navigate to the Pureblood Knight's Medal and use it to teleport directly to the Mohgwyn Palace!

Consecrated Snowfield Teleporter

If you don't want to partake in White-Faced Varré's questline, this second method is exactly what you're looking for. Furthermore, this way also requires far fewer steps and is much more straightforward, and might be the preferred path for many. You will have to gain access to the Consecrated Snowfields first.

Once you're in the Consecrated Snowfields, head west until you reach the Yelough Anix Ruins. When there, the teleporter will be northwest near the cliffside. We marked the exact location of the teleporter on the map above, along with a screenshot of the teleporter.

While this method is much faster to reach Mohgwyn Palace, it will teleport you to another region of the palace, which is much harder to traverse than the other way. We will go over how to traverse the palace's obstacles in the sectiꩵon beloꦆw!

Mohgwyn Palace Walkthrough

Since there are two ways to reach the Mohgwyn Palace, the path you take to get to Mohg will be slightly different depending on the one you decide to go with. However, with that said, taking the teleporter will lead you just outside the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance, which is where you will end up if you follow White-Faced Varré's questܫline.

So, due to that, we will go over how to get to the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance from the teleporter first and then go from there as you will be synced up route-wise with those who chose to tackle Varré's quest. If you went with Varré's questline, skip to the "Varré/Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance" section!

Teleporter Walkthrough

If you take the teleporter located in the Consecrated Snowfields, you will appear inside a dark tunnel that leads to a cliffside with the Mohgwyn Palace visible in the distance. From here, hug the left-hand side and follow the winding pathway down until you reach a Site of Grace. Next, there will be another pathway to the northwest with many Albinaurics, so🐬me sleeping and patrolling the area. Tak🍬e them out however you see fit, then proceed forward.

After taking care of the Albinaurics, continue following the path until you reach the lake of blood, where you will see even more Albinaurics patrolling. Many more than you could possibly deal with if you were to get caught by them. We recommend summoning Torrent and riding him north, bypassing the Albinaurics in the lake, then heading northwest to come across grasslands with even more Albinaurics.

Be very cautious here, as these Albinaurics will summon enormous skeletons that deal tons of damage. Just make Torrent hustle to the nearby stone structure, head up the stairs, and take a left to find the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance Site of Grace! The for this region will also be nearby, so be sure to pick thꦺat up as well. Now, to continueꦇ the walkthrough, head to the segment below!

Varré/Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance Walkthrough

After using the Pureblood Knight's Medal, you will get teleported to the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance, where the main pathway leading you directly to Mohg lies. After activating the Site of Grace, head southwest and up the stairs to find zombie-like Putrid Corpses roaming throughout the area. Continue up the series of stairs until you reach a large Blood Slime enemy with a visible doorway behind it. Take care of the Blood Slime and proceed through the door and into a large cave.

Once inside the cave, take the left pathway and follow it until you reach branching paths leading to the left and right. Take the path on the right and continue heading through the cave until you come across a staircase. Follow the steps up and keep an eye out for a Sanguine Noble who will try and ambush you.

Take care of the enemy and proceed to head straight from the staircase. You should see a doorway in the distance. Follow the winding walkway towards it and out of the cave to find the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace!

From the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint Site of Grace, head up the steps to find a large gathering of Albinaurics with their hands raised to a giant statue. Here, you can try picking them off one by one to explore the area, or you can hug the cave wall on the far right side of the site to find a large lift and ride it to the top of the cliffside. Whichever you choose to do, you will have to ride the lift to the top, which will take you directly to the Mohg boss encounter!
