As is the standard with many of FromSoftware's games, the lore of the games is learned in more gameplay-centric manners rather than told to you directly. You need to pay heed to the enemies you see, the items they carry, and the words written on every item description. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Elden Ring carries that same banner.

Find out the fate of one of the mos🧜t mysterious figures in Elden Ring.
While much of the grander lore concerning the demi-gods is at times more explicit and linear in chronology than previous FromSoftware games, much of the enemies are more vague. Take the Albinaurics, spread across the entirety of The Lands Between, yet so few are actually accepted amongst society. Let's delve into how exactly they fit into the world of Elden Ring.
Who Created The Albinaurics?
There are two distinct types of Albinaurics you can see throughout The Lands Between. In-game, they are referred to as the first and second-generation Albinaurics. Th🦋e first-generation is much less common, kept to the far reaches of society, while the second-generation is far more prevalent, though exist primarily within Liurnia.
The first-generation is much more humanoid than their second-generation counterparts, though still distinctly inhuman. Their skin is a pale shade of blue-silver, and their legs lose all function over time. The second generation is short, with heads bulbous like a frog, though lack the ability to speak.
Both of them, however, are denied the grace of the Erdtree. This is is say that they fall outside the natural order of The Lands Between, and cannot be given grace, nor return to the roots of the Erdtree upon death. As such, they are shunned by the majority of society. So who would create such a race of beings if their lives would only be sufferiꦅng?
Though not explicitly said, it can be theorised to be the denizens of the lands beneath The Lands Between. The Eternal Cities were also locked away from all light, both that of the Erdtree and the stars, and so its denizens found comfort in the Silver Tears, that primordial substance. From it, they created life. Or rather, something that resembled it. It can be presumed then that the Albinaurics are their own creation.
In-game, the Eternal Cities are where you find your Mimic Tear, which is also a reflജection of you created from the Silver Tears
Within the Eternal Cities between The Lands Between, you will encounter Silver Tears. It can take many forms, from amorphous blobs to perfect renditions of humans. These creations lack true like, acting instead as simple reflection of what they peer into. Containing the self-same blue-silver shimmer of the Albinaurics, it can be presumed that they too were made from the Silver tears.
Yet when viewed upon the surface, the Albinaurics are used as free labour, as slaves and soldiers, while none persist within the Eternal Cities. It is possible, then, that Albinaurics mark the hubris of those on the surface. They wished to create life that could serve as cannon fodder without the need to grace ⛄them as equal beings. If the Erdtree denies them, why should they ac✨cept them, after all?
There is one specific second-generation Albinauric found in ꦡthe Consecrated 🅰Snowfield that can cast Golden Order Incantations. Specifically, those created by Miquella.
The only thing that is clear about the Albinꦓaurics is that they were created artificially, though when or by wh⛄o is never explicitly said.
The First Generation Of Albinaurics
The first-generation of Albinaurics were created by human hands for reasons unknown. Presumably, they were created from the Silver Tears in the Eternal Cities, though the lack of Albinaurics within the cities casts doubt on their original creators. The existence of 🥂a second-generation implies the originals were, fo♋r some reason, viewed as failures.
The first-generation Albinaurics were quite humanoid, though had a pallid complexion more akin to silver than anything human. On top 💮of this, they lacked to fortitude to support their own bodies and denied the grace of the Erdtree due to their perverted creation, the Alb🍸inaurics were doomed from the beginning. If they could not be seen as people, then they could at least be used as weapons. This is what led to the second generation of Albinaurics.
First-generation Albinaurics initially look much like humans, though their legs quickly atrophy as they age, making them f🌌unctionally immovable.
Because of this, first-generation Albinaurics are spread across the entirety of The Lands Between, though are sparse in every location they are seen. They live separately from their second-generation siblings, the two groups unable to communicate despite shared origins. Lacking any strength of body or the power to call on Incantations, these Albinaurics live in secluded areas where 𓂃they hope to live quiet li♐ves, yet even this is denied to them.
Those of Liurnia live in the Village of the Albinaurics, a small settlement cut off from the rest of society, even the light of the Erdtree hidden from them. Even here, they were hunted by the Omenkillers in hopes of finding access to the supposed 'Chosen Land' of the Albinaurics. Orchestrated by Gideon Ofnir, this is an attack to strengthen his own power while simultaneously wiping out the Albinaurics.
Further afield, the Albinaurics exist in equally precarious scenarios. In their pursuit of their Chosen Land, they end up in the servitude of others, though 🔯in most cases this is forced rather than a choice made by an𝓀y individual Albinauric. Yet eventually, many of these Albinaurics do reach their promised land free of strife.
The Second Generation Of Albinaurics
Being the second-generation of Albinaurics, they have all but replaced the originals making them the most prominent of the Albinaurics in terms of population. They're scattered across the wide expanse of Liurnia travelling in groups with weapons emblazoned with ripples. They look like silvery frogs that can walk. Bulbous eyes and all.
Equipped in rags and deprived of most forms of magic, Albinaurics use their raw strength against you rather than any practised tactics. And this is all they do. They wander in their groups and they attack any they come across. They are shunned by society, yet too powerful to be outright exterminated. So they travel Liurnia, masterless and goalless.
In sharp contrast with their first-generation counterparts, these Albinaurics lack the means to speak and perhaps communicate in most forms altogether. With no means to talk, it is difficult to parse just how sentient they are. Do they know of their own origins? How they are reviled? Being significantly less humanoid than the first generation, it is possible that the means of higher thought 🌳was stripped from them to make them all the more subservient.
Beyond Liurnia, the second generation Albinaurics are rarely seen. The sole exception to this would be those stained red with blood in Mohgwyn Palace. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Denied the grace of the Erdtree due to their homunculus origin, they found a master in one who wished to see the Erdtree's grace removed from all.
The Persecution Of Albinaurics
Albinaurics are not born, but created. They are not human, despite how humanoid they may look. When life is born in The Lands Between, it is imbued with the grace of the Erdtree, and when they die this same energy returns to the Erdtree. It empowers it and retains the cycle of life. The Albinaurics offered nothing to the Erdtree as they were not born of the Erdtree, so the Erdtree in turn denied them the⛄ir grace.
To the Golden Order, the response was clear - genocide.
Like everything else that stood in opposition to the Erdtree and the Greater Will, the only appropriate answer was to remove them from the Erdtree's light permanently. Not even the shadow cast by its light should grace such outcasts. And so Albinaurics went the way of the serpents of Gelmir and the Fire Giants of the Mountaintops. They fled across the lands in hopes of escaping persecution, only to find it everywhere they stepped.
The Golden Order has wiped out the majority of the native races of The Lands Between, 𓆏and this may explain why there is so little inform൩ation available on the Albinaurics.
The persecution of the Albinaurics is alluded to within their name. 'Albinauric', presumably from the Latin words 'Albino' (itself a compound word) and 'Aurum', could possibly be read as meaning 'those without gold'. This could well be a derogatory term made to denigrate them in the eyes of those in favour of the Golden Order, justifying their extermination.
Their village in Liurnia was massacred by Omenkillers. They were treated as slaves and victims of torture within the Volcano Manor. They were given a pittance of an existence within the Carian Manor, yet still faced the persecution of the Golden Order that🦋 opposed their new home. Everywhere, death followed. The light of the Er꧟dtree could shine a light on any hiding spot they could find.
This refers specifically to the first-generation Albinaurics. Sec♎ond-generation Albinaurics remained in Liurnia outside of a few specific stragglers.
The Refuge Of The Albinaurics
Refuge In The Haligtree
Within Liurnia, you can meet two first-generation Albinaurics - Albus and Latenna. Albus resides within the Albinauric Village and will offer you the first half of the medallion that allows access to their Chosen Land - The Haligtree. With💯 this medallion in hand, you may also speak to Latenna, who will join you as a Spirit Ash and inform🌜 you as you approach the Haligtree, guiding you to the refuge spot of the first-generation Albinaurics.
For these Albinaurics, the promise of a safe haven, no matter how little veracity they have of the claim, is worthy more than the suffering they will endure otherwise. To their luck, Miquella's Haligtree truly is the last bastion for all those fleeing the persecution of the Golden Order. It lies hidden beyond the Consecrated🗹 Snowfield and already houses plenty of thꦉose shunned by the Erdtree.
Miquella, though all but absent🦂 from the base game, fashions himself a saviour of those looked down upon by the Golden Order and the grace of gold. His Haligtree is an alternative to that insular world beyond his own domain. The Omen, the Misbegotten, and of course the Albinauri🍒cs. All find refuge within the confines of the Haligtree.
Loretta, though rumoured to be a𝓰n Albinauric herself due to never being dismounted from her steed, was the guide of many Albinaurics to ☂the Haligtree. To save those from persecution should not require sharing their suffering.
Refuge In Mohgwyn Palace
Yet not all places of refuge are as pure in intent as Miquella's. Few second-generation Albinaurics can be seen at the Haligtree, but instead at the home of Mohgwyn's new dynasty of blood. The Albinaurics found here, whether having come there by choice or kidnapped within the Consecrated Snowfield to fill the ranks of Mohg's new dynasty, serve their new lord dutifully.
The Albinaurics suffered as outcasts, yet Mohg ailed not so differently. He was born as an Omen alongside his brother, Morgott. The Horned Omens are native to The Lands Between, yet were brought to nigh-extinction by the Golden Order. For the brothers, this resulted in them being confineཧd to the Depths of Leyndell, away from the light of the Erdtree and no longer a scourge to their divine pare🍬nts.
Yet within this darkness, Mohg came to commune with the Formless Mother, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an Outer God. Unlike the Greater Will and Erdtree that his mother became the vessel for, he could build a new world order, one where people like him did not suffer. One built on the blood of the oppressor. Fuelled by revenge as Mohg's ambitions might be, no less valid is he as a rallying call to the Albinaurics. Under Mohg, they have the promise of a world that will treat them as more than mindless tools.
Those born as Empyreans can become a vessel for Outer Gods, such as Marika for the Greater Will. Mohg was not born an Empyrean and so seeks Miquella to become the꧙ vessel for the Formless Mother.
