Where To Find The Waterlily River Dungeon
When you enter the Hinterwald, there are several dungeons for you to explore. Waterlily River is only a level three difficulty, but the puzzles inside can be challenging.
To reach this dungeon, you'll need to take the wooden stairs up in the Hinterwald, then take the path to the left. Continue past the watermill and the chasm across from the O𓆉vergrown Cave, taking the stairs up to the clif💯fs.
Y🌸ou'll have to fight some monsters here, but then cross the wooden bridge and follow the tr💎ail.
You'll find the Waterlily River portal in the middle of a purple pond with yellow lilypads. Use your Whirlwind to safely cross the waters and reach the portal.
Don't touch the purple water! It's toxic and will 🔥quic🍌kly drain your health.
Waterlily River Puzzles
Inside the dungeon, make your way to the massive ladder by using your Whirlwind to cross the brambles. As you climb the ladder, the camera will shift to a top-down angle so you can watch over Luisa as she explores.
Follow the path and use your Whirlwind to cross any of the vibrant gre🌸en brambles in your path. FIght off any monsters you encounter as well.
You can use your ranged attack to pick up the exploding pods and use them in combat!
As you come across massive green trees ready to topple, use your ranged magic to pick up exploding pods or hit the leaves with targets on them. This will enable you to bring the trees down so you can use them as a bridge.
Giant white eyes cling to masses of darkness. Use the exploding pods to blast the eye and wash away the dark goo so you can progress. Use your Whirlwind ability to scoop up Luisa and deposit her onto the brown woven nets so she can cross into the next area.
Once you've reachedᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ a floating raft, you're ready for the second half of the dungeon.
Floating Down The River
Step onto the raft and get ready for your ride. The first time, exploding pods will rain down on you. Don't try to pick them up, as they're stuck on the raft. Instead, just focus on avoiding them until the raft gets stuck in black goo.
Once the raft is stuck, you'll find the first Waystone. You'll want to implement all the skills from the previous portion of the dungeon to this area as well. Use your Whirlwind to go through the net and collect the exploding pods. Drop them by Luisa, then use your ranged magic to laun🐼ch them into the large white eye. Circle around the area to get back on the raft.
From now on when y🌌ou ride ꧟the raft, you'll have to fight enemies until the raft comes to a stop. Be prepared!
At the next location, launch your ranged attack at the leaf with a target on it to drop a pod onto an eye. This clears the way for you to move forward. Use your Whirlwind to carry Luisa over the brambles and to the ruins.
From there, carry Luisa over the brambles to the far corner, then use the Whirlwind to pick up an exploding pod and bring it to the eye. Carry Luisa past the cleared area and drop her down into the pit, where she'll have to fight several spiders.
Try destroying the dark spires along the wall before dropping into the 🔯pit to make 🔜the battle easier!
Leap Frog
Once the battle is complete, move along to the next area where lilypads are floating downstream. Climb up onto the raised platform and use your ranged magic to drop an exploding pod onto a lilypad. This will take it downstream to an eye, where it will explode and clear your path.
Cross the now-cleared bridge and circle around to the next area. Soar the brambles and use the Whirlwind to pass over the Lilypads with Luisa. You'll need to blow up two eyes to unlock the next bridge, then scale tℱhe wall and cross th෴e bridge.
Time your explosions carefully to hit each of the eyes in midair.
Carry Lousia across the lilypads one last time, then cross the wooden bridge to reach the exploding pod plant. Use the pod to blow u🔯p the last eye, then circle back to board the 💯raft.
You'll start the final fight, which will bring your raft to the exit portal. Defeat all enemies, stamp your book, and ascend to use the portal. You'll be well on 🍌your way to the next dungeon soon enough!
