Where To Find Snowflake Slalom
When you arrive in Kolstein, get on the main rail and ride down the slopes to the chair lifts. Take the chair lifts to the cliffside and make your way 🧸to the giant race banner.
The portal to Snowflake Slalom is locked, but you can open it by starting and completing a race on your hoverboard. There are many flags to pass through, so do your best to hit them all 🅰in one go.
If you miss any, you can fast travel back to the top and try again.
Once all the flags have been passed through, the portal will unlock. Snowflake Slalom is a level four difficulty dungeon, so be prepared before going in!
Snowflake Slalom Puzzles
When you first enter the portal, follow the path and use your ranged magic on the four yellow eyes that follow you. Two of them are down below in the pit while the other two are along the walls. Striking them all with magic will lower the icy platform so you can cross it.
Head into the next area, where you'll need to use your hoverboard to race through all six flags encircling the frozen lake. This will unlock the rail so you can ride it up the frozen waterfall i𝓡nto the next region. You'll nee☂d to fight off some monsters before you can proceed.
From there, you'll need to ride your hoverboard down the slopes and circle through a series of flags again. This unlocks the next rail, which will take you into the sky along some massive snowflakes. Use your ranged magic to strike at the three yellow eyes rotating 🐠oꦬn the surrounding flakes.
You can fire at the eyes while riding your snowboard on the rails!
Once the eyes are closed, hop onto the next rail and weave down the slopes until you come across a large door. This is only the first of two, and you'll need to ജdo som🌺e work to open them.
How To Open The Big Door
To open the first big door, you'll need to approach the three-headed monster statue and battle. THe waves of monsters that appear are challenging, but nothing you can't handle. Dispatch the⭕m, and the door will open.
The next big door is a bit more challenging. You'll have to complete three tasks to light up each of the three circles.
The Race
To the left, you'll find a series of flags you'll need to race through. Completing this within the time limit is key, but you have plenty of it. Follow along the winding path until you've passed through all 26 flags.
The door will light up, and you'll be one step closer to completing the dungeon.
The Eyes
To the right, you'll find a frozen waterfall surrounded by yellow eyes. Fire at the three on the ground level, then take the rail to the top of the waterfall and hit the remaining ones with your ranged magic.
Doing so will light up the door, so you can make progress towards leaving the dungeon.
The Ruins
To the right, you'll find the ruins of a castle. Here, there are monsters to fight inside. Defeating them will light up the rail outside, so take that to the top of the tower and face off with the Kobold King you find there.
Defeating him will unlock the last part of the door, allowing you to pass through. Head back to the big door and ride the rail up to the exit. You can collect your stamp before opening the portal and heading home.
