The priests have a melee attack with a chance to paralyze their target and a ranged attack that prevents the target from regaining hit points until the priest's next turn. The hertilod has legendary resistance and magic resistance, so it's nearly immune to spells that require saving throws. Its claw attacks are nothing special, but it does have a bite attack it uses as well every turn which will very likely put any creature it hits into the hertilod's gullet.
Creatures inside the gullet are restrained, blinded, and take 2d12 poison damage at the start of the hertilod's turns. Escape is a grim prospect unless the party uses lightning damage to potentially cause the hertilod to regurgitate its meal. As a legendary action, the hertilod can feed on the creature's inside of its stomach dealing 3d6 necrotic damage to them and healing for the same amount.
