5 ꧒ White Dragons

They're Cold As Ice

And, rightfully so, has a cold breath weapon that mirrors this, along with an ability called Ice Walk that allows them to thrive in the sleet and ♒snow of any D&D campaign by not losing any of their speed when traveling through these difficult areas. However, of the five Chromatic Dragons, the White Dragon has the lowest stats of the bunch. Though that certainly doesn't mean they are weak.

Just hitting them alone means you will have to get a 20 or higher. And if you are caught in their cold breath, players can expect to take an🅷 average of 72 points of cold damage. But some of the areas that the other Dragons have an advantage in can be better prepared for by players getting ready to go up against a White Dragon.

If you know you'll be traveling to winter tundras, you can gather supplies and materials that can make surviving and navigating the environment easier while also meaning less of a boost for the Dragon to use icy terrain against you. Plus, having stats that are just lower across the board means that you have less hit points you have to chip away at.

4 Black Dragons 💦 🔜

Raining Down Death From The Air, Land, And Water

The Black Dragon is all about acid. They have acid breath, acid damage that coats their bite attacks, and complete immunity to acid damage. But, since there really isn't an acid-based environment, instead of having something like Ice Walk that allows them to move easily through certain types of terrain, Black Dragons are instead Amphibious and able to breathe air or water.

Just this change alone can make challenging them more difficult as it gives them a♍ bigger option to turn the tides in a battle o🎉r flee.

In comparison to the White Dragon, Black Dragons have a higher 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Armor Class, or AC for short, and more hit points. So you have to roll higher and hit harder at the same time if you're looking to take one on. They also have a bonus in each of their stats, their Dexterity and Wisdom are their lowest, and it still allows them to add two to whatever is rolled on the dice.

So, long story short, they're just built differently and more deadly.

3 🔴 Green Dragons ꧃

It's Easy Being Green

Not to keep dragging the poor White Dragon, but the differences in strength are easier to see. However, if you look at the Green and Black Dragons side by side, it's harder to see why one is better than the other. Some of their stats are higher and some are lower.

But one of the secrets is in the breath weapon. If someone were to take the full force of an Ancient Black Dragon's acid breathing, it would be 15d8 worth of acid damage. The Ancient Green Dragon would instead be rolling a massive 22d6.

Whenever you see something like 15d8ꦫ, it refers to how many of which type of dice needs to be rolled. So, in this case, it would be an 8-sided🦹 dice rolled 15 times so you can calculate how much damage is being output.

Another big difference is that the Green Dragon is not only immune to poison damage, but it can't be poisoned. There's nothing like that for the Black and White Dragons that can have conditions like this brought against them. So, the differences are much more subtle, but the Green Dragon can do a bit more damage and resist some things that other Dragons just can't.

2 Blue Dragons ⭕

The Ancient Blue Dragon is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:built like a tank. It's not as dexterous as the other Dragons, but has way more hit points on average and higher strength and constitution stats. This Lawful Evil creature harnesses the power of Lightning to unleash against foes with a breath attack that can target players from 120 feet away.

It can't really swim as effectively as the Green, Black, and White Dragons can, but it can burrow instead, giving it another way to escape from players or an upper hand by launching attacks from under the ground. It also can roll pretty poorly and still have a good chance at hitting players thanks to a +16 to their three melee attacks: biting, clawing, and tail strikes.

The Red Dragon is featured in a lot of Dungeoꦛns & Dragons artwork. Their logo itself depicts a Red Dragon making up the ampersand of D&D. And although there could be a whole host of reasons for this, one must certainly be how powerful this majesti𒅌c monster is.

Where the Ancient Blue Dragon has an average of 481 hit points, an Ancient Red Dragon has an average of 546. That's the first of their improved stats.

Their s💫trength, constitution, and charisma are all higher than any of the other Chromatic Dragons. They add 17 to any attack rolls they make. And their immunity to fire protects them from some of the traditional high-powered spells players like to use against big baddies, like Fireball.

If you see a Red Dragon and don't feel you're prepared to handle it, you should definitely run, as even the most hardened adventurers are struck down by them.
