Research🌜 ꦰis one of the most important gameplay mechanics in Dune Awakening. Here's how it works.

While the game faithfully recreates many aspects of the Dune books and movies, sometimes th🃏at accuracy can get in the way of your optimal gaming experience. After spending so long making a beautiful character, for example, you may not want their face to be covered up by your Stillsuit mask. Below, we'll show you how to hide your helmet so you can get back to staring at your character.

How To Hide Your Helmet

To hide your helmet or other type of headgear, open up the settings from the main menu. In the gameplay tab, scroll down to the very last item in the first category, before the building tab, where it says 'Show Helmet'. Simply to🙈ggle this option to 'No' to hide your helmet.

Alternatively, you can more easily hide your helmet from your inventory. Open up your inventory, then press the 'D' key to see an expanded view of your Clothing and Utilities. On this screen, uncheck the Helmet option underneath your boots on the left set of items to hide your helmet. You can also toggle off the Eyes of Ibad effect from consuming Spice.

Interestingly, cutscenes seem to ignore these settings. For the most part, your helmet will be hidden during cutscenes, regardless of whether it's toggled on or off in the settings. However𝓰, other times, your helmet will be automatically displayed, even if tℱhe option is toggled off.
