What Happens When NPCs Die
NPCs in Dragon's Dogma 2 can meet their demise in various ways, but regardless of how they die, they'll eventually end up in the Morgue, determined by their region of origin.
Two morgues are available: the Vernworth Charnel House in the south of Vernworth, and the Battahl Morgue situated to the south of Bakbattahl.
You can easily spot these morgues on the map by looking for a coffin icon.
After a few days of an NPC's death, they'll be automatically transported to the morgue. There, you can speak to the morgue keeper for a fee of 5,000 G to check the list of deceased individuals within that region.
