What Are The Purgener Bosses?

DD2 True Final Ending Purgener Dragon Boss in Dragon's Dogma 2.

The Purgener Dragon bosses in the Unmoored World are a set of four dragons (and✱ one jar) that you fight to slow the encroaching storm.

As you kill these bosses, the progression of the red storm and its fog will slow and stop.

Each boss is found adjacent to the location of other postgame quests in The Unmoored World, so be sure to fight each boss and evacuate the ♈nearby town to complete the true ending.

Where Are The Purgener Bosses & How To Summon Them

Every Purgener Dragon boss can be summoned by approaching the pink beam and examining it, then using the Godsbane Blade to ♒activate the beam.

All five Purgener bosses are located near one of the major evacuation locations:

  1. The Bakbattahl Purgener – Located in the Bakbattahl city center, right outside the Flamebearer Palace
  2. The Vernworth Purgener – Found in the Southern Ruins outside Vernworth. The path to it is accessed via the Seafloor Shrine.
  3. The Sacred Arbor Purgener – Located in Sacred Arbor directly adjacent to the endgame .
  4. The Volcanic Island Purgener – Located in a clearing following a small path outside the Volcanic Island Camp. Follow the road west and look for a small crack in a wall, leading down to the pink beam (pictured below).
  5. The Excavation Site Purgener – A special Purgener that is triggered after completing the four other fights. It can also spawn after you rest for enough days.

You may need to rest at an inn to trigger the fifth Purgener to spawn.

The Volcanic Island Path To Fifth Beam in Dragon's Dogma 2,

The Bakbattahl Purgener is different from the other bosses and has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an associated quജest – A Scholarly Pursuit.

You🌌 must reach and destroy a Draconic jar alongside Phaesus rather than fight a large boss.

There are two types of Purgener bosses to fight, so devising a strategy to beat them all won't be a simple matter of mastering 𓄧ಞone fight.

How To Defeat The Purgener Bosses

Overall, you will fight two full-sized draconic Purgener bosses, and a third 💮type of enemy – a Draconic Jar in Bakbatta𒆙hl.

The Draconic Jar isn't technically a boss, as it is destroyed in one hit, so let's focus on the other two types of bosses:

  1. A standard Drake Purgener with wings.
  2. A worm-like Wyrm Purgener that slithers along the ground.

Both bosses have weak points that you must target, but how you go about fighting each will differ.

How To Kill The Wyrms (Sacred Arbor & Excavation Site)

The Fifth Purgener Wyrm Hardening in Dragon's Dogma 2.

The slithering Wyrm Purgener bosses are located at t🔜he Sacred Arbor🌄 and the fifth beam at the Excavation Site.

Each of these bosses is fairly harmless while they're moving around the battlefield, so take advantage and use that time to attack the red spots along their body until they pop.

Slithering is the time to attack, while you should instead run, and dodge damage during the typhoon and meteor attacks.

Your attacks will be largely ineffective against any Purgener boss if you are not﷽ targeting their weak p♏oints, so methodically destroy each of them.

As each weak point is broken, the Purgener's worm-like body will begin to harden from tail to head.

Once you've destroyed all the weak points, go for the face to finish these bosses off.

How To Kill The Drakes (Vernworth & Volcanic Island)

The Vernworth Purgener Dragon And Typhoons in Dragon's Dogma 2.

The Drake Purgeners are far more dangerous than their worm-like cousins, as these beasts attack with far more regularity.

These bosses also boast meteo♑r storms and dangerous typhoons that spread out along the battleﷺfield.

These winged Purgeners will unleash a three typhoon attack that strikes a large area while the worm-like typhoon attack only feat𒁏ures a single large typhoon that remains♚ in place around the boss.

Similar to the other bosses, you must jump onto the Purgener's body and attack the weak points along their spines and on their limbs.

After all red spots are destroyed, target the unicorn-like horn on the Purgener's face with your attacks, which will deal massive damage until you completely d𒅌ꦯeplete the boss' health bar.

Don't bother attacking the bodies of either boss type, as the damage is🦂 incredibly minimal.

Destroying weak points is the key to victory.

What Rewards Do You Get From Defeating The Purgener Bosses?

The Arisen receives 90 Wyrmslife Crystals from the Purgener Boss in Dragon's Dogma 2.

Each Purgener boss will bestow an identical set of rewar🦂ds for defeating them in battle:

  1. 90
  2. 25,000 XP
  3. 400 DCP

If you defeat each of the four dragon bosses, that will leave you with a minimum of 360 Wyrmslife Crystals to use on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:endgame gear for new game plus.
