Thankfully, the quest itself is rather straightforward and sho♕uldn't take long to finish, assuming you don't get soft-locked from a quest bug. Let's go over how to start this quest, how to complete each step, and showcase all quest rewards.

How To Start Home Is Where The Hearth Is

Dragon's Dogma 2 Home Is Where The Hearth Is Quest Log

This quest becomes available upon completing "168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Readvent of Calamity" and revisiting Melve after a few days. Captain Brant will also direct you towards this quest upon completing "168澳洲幸运5开奖网:An Unsettling Encounter," so most players should stumble upon this quest during their playthꦦrough.

Once you've completed "Readvent of Calamity," return to Melve and bribe the guardsman to enter the town. Melve has become occupied by Vernworth soldiers, and they haven't exactly been kind to the citizens. You'll need to speak to Lennart to learn more about the situation. You can💛 find him in Ulrika's House at💟 the western end of town.

Potential Soft Lock

Do not harm any of the guards in Melve before completing the first quest step. Doing so will cause the soldiers to become💫 hostile, preventing you from speaking to Lennart. You'll need to kill every guard in town to speak with Lennart again.

If Lennart is still bugg🧜ed, you'll need to pick him up and throw him outside Melve. Lennart should then become open to dialogue.

Failure StatesDragon's Dogma 2 Arisen And Ulrika Looking At Night Sky

We can confirm that this quest is time-sensitive and can expire if you wait too long to 𒉰finish it.ಌ This quest is also intertwined with Harve Village's quest chain, some of which are also time-sensitive—notably "Trouble on the Cape."

That being said, some players have reported being unable to start this quest or any quests tied to Ulrika. We believe this happens upon attending the Vernworth coronation. If you progress too far into the main story, t🍰his quest might become inaccessible for the rest of your playthrough. Failing to complete "Trouble on the Cape" could also prevent t♛his quest from starting.

Arming Melve

Dragon's Dogma 2 Home Is Where The Hearth Is Lennart Swords

Lennart will inform you that Melve's citizens have effectively been stripped of all power and are being treated as slaves. The guards have confiscated all weapons and are abusing their power. It's time to fight back. You'll need to deliver four swords to Lennart to rearm the town. There are two ways to approach this:

  1. Smuggle four swords into town. Visit any town's blacksmith or weapon's merchant and purchase four swords.
  2. Find the confiscated weapons. The guards keep them locked up in a storeroom next to Ulrika's House.

Since this quest is rather buggy, we recommend the former strategy. Head to Borderwatch🍰 Outpost and purchase four weapons, the💛n return to Melve and speak to Lennart. If you opt for the second strategy, beware that fighting the guards might prevent you from speaking with Lennart until you kill every guard.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Home Is Where The Hearth Is Arisen Standing Against Soldiers

Now that the citizenry is armed with solid steel, it's time to escape. You'll need to fight alongside Lennart and defeat the local soldiers. You don't need to kill all of them, just a few. Eventually, one of the soldiers will decry that they're ill-suited to defend the city and will flee. Most of Melve's citizens will then migrate to Harve Village near the coast, but before everyone leaves, Lennart will ask you to find Ulrika and inform her of what happened.

Ulrika can be found in Harve Village, a remote town that's directly west of Vernworth. It's between the Checkpoint Rest Town and the Vernworth capital. If you haven't spoken with Ulrika since "Readvent of Calamity," you'll need to complete the "Trouble on the Cape" quest as well, along with any previous quests 🀅tied to the Harve Village quest chain. The que🌟st simply asks you to clear out a local cave of saurians to rescue a villager.

Speak To Ulrika At Night
