Dragon's Dogma 2: Hunt For The Jadeite Orb Quest Walkthrough
One orb, two people; what's your choice?
You'll likely wonder what it is that needs to be done as the beggar will keep recounting his tale over and over by the statue, and conversations with both the beggar and the quest giver♛ are quickly moot. Here's everything you need to know about how to complete this quest.
How To Unlock The 'A Beggar's Tale' Quest
In the Merchant Quarter of Vernworth, there is a statue of a hero slaying a dragon. If you come here at the right time of day (it appears to be midday, when the sun is brightest), you will find a beggar recounting tales of heroism just in front of the statue.
A nearby NPC will ponder how the beggar makes his money and ask you to keep an eye on him, automatically giving you the꧃ 'A Beggar's Tale' quest.
Remember you can changeಞ the time 🥀of day by dozing off at a nearby bench.
How To Complete 'A Beggar's Tale'
You might think you simply have to follow Albert the beggar all day, but it's not that straightforward. You have to steal the Beggar's Garb from his home in the Common Quarter at a specific time.
As you follow Albertﷺ, if you are too close he will say "Hm?" but it doesn't app✅ear to stop him.
We've detailed Albert's full routine below, but essentially, you want to be outside his house in the Common Quarter when he exits it in his noblewear during the night, after which there is a short window of opportunity where you can enter and steal his .
