Which Is The Best Starter Monster?
While all four potential starter monsters vary significantly, in the long run, it doesn't really matter which one you pick. You can have a party of up to four monsters to cover all roles, and thanks to how easy it is to scout more party members, you'll soon have more monsters than you know what to do with.
Of the four, however, the Cruelcumber is likely the best pick. It has the Blowy Slasher Talent, which means it can get the Woosh sp🐻ell very early.
The Woosh spell targets the entire enemy party, which is incredibly handy for decimating the earlygame arena challenges which you'll need to overcome before you can get into synthesis.
