Psaro and Rose have met an interesting fellow through Purgil, and that fellow, who can't possibly be anything but benevolent, has advised you to head over to the Laboratory of Dr. Helix Helix. But Purgil thinks you're still too rough around the fur to get the attention of so esteemed a scholar, so it's back to the Maulosseum with you.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Darꦗk Prince - All Mon🥃sters In Terrestria

Terrestria, the first area you can explore in DQM: The Da﷽rk 🐭Prince, is home to a great number of interesting monsters to find.

This time, our 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:🔯Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince sights are on the Category E prize. Not the material prize (though we guess a Yggdrasil Leaf) is OK, but the notoriety that comes with the victory. Whether you're looking for advice ahead of the matches, or you're struggling to take home the gold, we've got you covered.

Maulosseum Rank E Overview

A monster lineup in the Maulosseum in Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince.

Entry Fee: 100 Gold Coins

The buy-in price for both the Maulosseum and the Endor Colosseum scales upward with rank. As you'll have no doubt grown accustomed to by now, you will battle three sets of monsters in a row. The same rules apply here as in previous categories; you're mercifully healed between rounds.

First Battle

Awebergine

Prancing Pillar

Kisser

Second Battle

Weartiger

Escudogre

Ursa Major

Jumping Jackal

Third Battle

Drakalurge

Rockbomb

Gasbagon

Dessert Demon

The fights in Maulosseum Rank E are designed to wear you down rather than beat you into submission outright. That's not to say there aren't hard hitters; Weartiger in Round Two, and both Drakalurge and Rockbomb in Round Three, spring to mind. But the opposition is built around at least one monster per match, which'll do more to debilitate your beasties. This is especially vivid in the Round One, where both Awebergine and Kisser are present.

How To Beat Maulosseum E Rank

A Dark Sabrecub attacks a Drakalurge during the heat of battle at the Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince Maulosseum.

With Raph the scumbag giraffe down for the count, you'll have an easier go of it scouting monsters back at the Circle of Temptation (Lower Echelon), and you ought to put that into practice. Not so much because we think there's something on the roster here that screams 'level me up and bring me to the Maulosseum posthaste'.

But since reserve party members gain half experience, and monster depot stowaways gain a quarter, it's never a bad idea to begin building new species' Talent Points to help supplement your main line with synthesis-fueled boosts for the frontline fighters you do choose.

We're going to detail the party we took into battle at the Maulosseum Rank E, but don't take that to mean you need to build yours identically. Instead, think of our choices as broad guidance, since we found their individual focuses to be of particular strength here - but there are other monsters who can fill the same roles.

Our Party

Main Role

Explanation

Acquisition

Dark Sabrecub

Physical Attacker

Critical Triumph elevates the likelihood of critical attacks. Consider having it use Sandstorm to lower your enemies' accuracy. Wind Sickles, should you raise its skill tree high enough, ought to do considerable damage. Note that a Great Sabrecub works fine here as well.

We fused our Great Sabrecub with a Shadow.

Raptile

Physical Attacker

Raptile is one of our 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:main early-game synthesis suggestions. Frizzmeister means Fire Breath will do decent damage, and if you've taken the time to get Flame Breath, your Raptile is going to be an army unto itself. You don't need to go quite that far, though.

We fused our Vegandragora with a Drake Slime.

Bullfinch

Physical Attacker

Bullfinch is just brutal to behold by Rank E standards. Have it learn Hatchet Man if you can, which will often miss - not good! - but will do extreme damage when it hits - very good! In our experience, it's worth the risk. Helm Splitter is a great (not to mention, easier to obtain) standby if you'd rather not risk it.

We fused our Antguzzler with a Bantamwight.

Slime Stack

Healer and Supporter

Of all these party members, Slime Stack's species is arguably the least relevant; there are other options to fill in the above attacking roles, but plenty of other Slimes, like the aptly-named Healslime, who ought to do just as nicely here. You just want to have gone down the Healer skill tree until you've learned Midheal. If you can, shoot for Zing as well.

We fused our Healslime with a Foo Dog. Weird.

As you can see, we advise an aggressive approach to the Maulosseum Rank E fights. This is because you'll want to bring down the aforementioned troublemaking debuffers as soon as possible, and if you brin🌸g a party similar in strategy to our own, you should make quick enough work of them to make it through relatively unscathed.

Analysis

A party of monsters at the Maulosseum in Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince.
  • You're liable to get stunned by the Awebergine in Round One, but the accuracy is random enough that it probably won't affect everyone simultaneously. Thank goodness for that. Still, if your healer (in our case Slime Stack) happens to get stunned, it can cause issues. But the accompanying offensive monsters here aren't threatening enough to stand a good chance of outright eliminating your healer, and you ought to be quick enough with your physical attackers to clear the path in time.
  • Having Attack Attacker learned on at least two of your physical attackers (make sure to crank up its likelihood of usage with the up arrow) can be quite handy during the second round. Reducing the might of Weartiger and Ursa Major will help keep the heat off of your team.
  • Weartiger is likely to cast Sandstorm, lowering your team's accuracy, but you'll probably have little trouble with anything else during Round Two so long as you've defanged its claws a bit (or simply have powerful enough moves for it to matter less).

With a setup similar to our own, the third round shouldn't be that challenging, either. Really, the first was the worst for us. And, if you want to make the first round that much easier, consider bringing Stun-inflicting (or Sleep-inflicting) moves of your own to nix the Awebergine's and Kisser's relentless debuff assault.
