Recommended Strategy
Krillin's stats aren't much to look at, unfortunately. With his low stats, his DP cost is also extremely low, sitting at a meager three points. This will at least allow for stronger allies when building a𓆉 team, though don't assume he is completely useless.
Krillin has access to a very useful set of abilities that work both in offensive and defensive playstyles. Solar Flare will blind opponents who are playing hyper-aggressive, leaving them wide open to any of your follow-up attacks for a few seconds. Afterimage Strike is also a very effective defensive tool, capable of negating any melee attack thrown by the opponent for 15 whole seconds.
Afterimage Strike should be used preemptively before engaging to maximize i🌺ts use.
Kamehameha should be used at the end of a combo launch or when the opponent is attempting to charge their Ki at a distance. Charging the Kamehameha will increase its damage the longer it's held, though this is unsafe if done in neutral.
Spread Energy Wave, unfortunately, has no use during a combo and is much better used as a ranged poking tool.
Solar Flare can be used to almost always guarantee a fulꦕly charged Kamehameha or Spread Energy Wave, as the opponent will be unable to defend aga♔inst something they can't see.
While in Sparking Mode, deal as much damage as you can with the increased combo damage before ending with the Chain Destructo Disc.
It is possible to𝓰 chain a Kamehameha into a C🌺hain Destructo Disc, though you'll need to be quick to activate it.
