Summary
- Characters who did not die onscreen are fair game for future Dragon Age instalments, says the lead writer.
- Some fans interpret this as meaning that whoever was left in the Fade in Inquisition could return, since we never saw them die.
Ever since BioWare first hinted that old꧃er Dragon Age characters🌳 will return in The Veilguard, fans have been desperately guessing who they will be. The writers aren't giving us too much information, only adding that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:some &quo𓆉t;loved characters" will come 𝄹back, but now, they've helped us narrow it down a bit more.
Speaking on Bluesky, lead writer Trick Weekes that anyone we didn't see "die onscreen" is fair game to return in future 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age games. While this might sound a bit obvious, it really isn't, as some deaths are dependent on player choice - and one major death was only ever implied.
Dragon Age Fans Think That Whoever We Left In The Fade Could Still Be Alive
The latter is the most exciting possibility. Many fans are interpreting Weekes' words as confirmation that whoever we left in the Fade in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition could return since they never died onscreen. In fact, the wording in this scene says that whoever we ask to stay behind will "likely" die. Couple this with the fact that we don't see them die, and it's possible that Weekes' is hinting at their return.
That would open the following characters up for a cameo: Hawke, Stroud, Alistair, and Loghain. Hawke always appears in the Fade, and the other three show up depending on your choices in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Origins. If they do show up in Inquisition, then it will be interesting to see what ten years in the Fade does to a person - I can't imagine it's pretty. Just don't expect Hawke to stick around much even if they are alive, as BioWare has previously said 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:they won't be part of the story.
Outside of that, who else could make the cut? Well, characters who can die have had their deaths reversed before - like Leliana and Anders - but it seems like Weekes' wants to avoid that. Therefore, if those with dependant deaths are ruled out, that slims down our candidates a bit. It does still mean that Dorian can still show up though, which is likely, given that he is from Tevinter.
In any case, we should find out soon enough.168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to launch this autumn, and is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rumoured to be an October release.
