168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: The Veilguard got a new trailer yesterday. As well as giving us a better look at the story and some of the companions, 168澳洲幸运🦂5开奖网:it made the huge reveal that Morrigan is back, and is seemingly playing a significant role in the story. However, some fans now fear that this isn't Morrigan at all.
Judging by her new appearance, some fans think that the "Morrigan" we saw in this trailer is actually the new host of the elven god, Mythal. This is because Morrigan is now wearing a crown that previously belonged to Flemeth - her mother, and the previous host of Mythal. This could suggest that Morrigan lost her fight against her mother possessing her, something she's contended with since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Origins.
Morrigan Might Be Mythal In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Unfortunately for Morrigan, it's easy to imagine how this came about. Mythal's previous host is dead now, having been killed by Solas, and Flemeth always intended to possess Morrigan. However, players could take steps to avoid this from happening in both Origins and Inquisition ("killing" Flemeth in the former, refusing to let Morrigan drink from the Well of Sorrows in the latter) so it remains to be seen if this is the default world state.
In fact, an extended version of this theory suggests that Morrigan might not be Mythal by default and that the Inquisitor could take her place instead. This is because the Inquisitor can also opt to drink from the Well of Sorrows inﷺstead of Morrigan. Inquisition set up that whoever drank from the well could be controlled by Mythal, something which might ✅extend to full possession.
It has already been confirmed that 168澳洲幸运5开奖⛎网:the Inquisitor is returning in The Veilguard, so this is a very real possibility. We've already had character returns be situational like this, such as the Grey Warden in Inquisition, who could be Alistair, Stroud, or Loghain, depending on choices in previous games. The Veilguard could do this once again with Morrigan and the Inquisitor, although the stakes would be much higher this time.
In any case, we don't have to wait too much longer to find out. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to launch on October 31.
