"One of the things we wanted to make sure with Veilguard is that it's respectful and referential to previous games without feeling like you needed to have played Inquisition, or [Dragon Age 2] or [168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Origins] to understand what's going on," says John Epler, creative director on Dragon Age: The Veilguard, speaking in an with Game Informer.

"While there are references, there are moments that we have callbacks, it really is its own story, its own continuation with a different cast, with different characters," Epler explains. This ties into BioWare's reasoning for changing the game's name from Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to Dragon Age: The Veilguard. As we previously reported, BioWare doesn't consider The Veilguard to be a game about Solas, and the title change puts the focus on the companions instead. With this in mind, it seems that new players can jump in without having met Solas in Dragon Age: Inquisition, despite the game kicking off with his plans to tear down the V🍌eil.

Despite this, we're still going to see a bunch of familiar faces. Right now, we know that Solas (obviously), Varric, and Lace Harding will return as characters. It remains to be seen who else gets a cameo - although with The Veilguard taking plac🐟e 22 years after Dr🅘agon Age: Origins, our old frie๊nds could look quite different now.
