168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: The Veilguard just got a new trailer - and we're finally seeing the new characters. We even have a launch window, with the trailer confirming that it will be with us this autumn.
That's right, having waited almost ten years since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Inquisition, we finally have a better idea of what the next game looks like. With that said, there's no gameplay to be found here, as that's coming on June 11.
A New Dragon Age: The Veilguard Trailer Is Finally Here
Here, we're introduced to the most important part of any Dragon Age game, our companions. They are:
- Harding: The Scout (remember her from Inquisition?)
- Neve: The Detective
- Lucanis: The Mage Killer
- Bellara: The Veil Jumper
- Emmrich: The Necromancer
- Davrin: The Warden (Yup, a Grey Warden)
- Taash: The Dragon Hunter
The name change to The Veilguard was revealed earlier this week, alongside the June 11 gameplay reveal. In this announcement, we wer🗹e told this is because the new title references our co🎀mpanions, not the villain, which better suits the game, apparently.
While we are having to wait a while to get a good look at the gameplay - 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:outside of leaks, at least - it's worth mentioning that this trailer is arriving exactly when BioWare said it would. In 2023, we were told that Dragon Age: The Veilguard's real reveal would come "next summer", and here it is, right on 𓆉schedule. Hopefully, this means that all is well behind the scenes, aꩵnd the project is reaching its milestones.
If you want to brush up on your Dragon Age knowledge before The Veilguard drops, you'll be starting with 2009's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Origins. But that's fine, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Origins is the best one, actually.
Unfortunately, it's hard to imagine that the team wasn't affected by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the huge layoffs at BioWare. 50 developers spread across the Dragon Age and Mass Effect teams lost their jobs, including one writer who had been there since the studio worked on the Baldur's Gate series.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It's set to launch in autumn 2024.

Early Access Is The New Norm, And That's Not A Bad Thing
We're going to be seeing even more early access titles in the futu🐬re, even for triple-A releases.
