Balatro has been added to the long list of games that can officially run Doom.
UwUDev created a mod to play Doom on a makeshift surface of 15 Balatro cards, which can even be switched around for a more cursed Doom experience.
Unfortunately, it doesn't run particularly well, but the attention has convinced UwUDev to try and optimize it and work on something "even more impressive and stupid."

Balatro is a poker-inspired, deck building game. It takes place entirely on the top of a table, sometimes with a fancy background, so modders don't exactly have that much to work with. However, we should probably know by now that there are plenty of people out there so committed to retro gaming that they'd get Doom running on just about anything.

As you can see, UwUDev manages 𒈔to lay out 15 cards in a square and displays Doom on this makeshift surface, with each card displaying a bit of Doom at a time. What makes this even more cursed is that UwUDev then shows that they can even swap around the cards for an extremely cursed Doom session if you want one.

Unfortunately, it also appears that this version of Doom is pretty unstable. UwUDev also explains that the build has huge lag spikes and is "really unplayable" at the moment, but they are planning to try and optimize i for a smoother experience. They also had no idea that this little project would have attracted so much attention, so they're now going to do something "even more impressive and stupid." I can't tell if that's a promise of a threat.
