Rock♏star mistakenly listed GTA 3 for free l𒁃ast week. The mistake was a brief one - it was rectified within an hour - and exclusive to the mobile version๊ of the game. A lot of people got wind of the error and grabbed 🅷the game for free, though, and if you were one of those people, you will now need to keep the game on your device of choice forever or risk having to pay for it.

Usually when a game or an app is tied to the account through which you initially downloaded it, you can delete and reinstall that app whenever you like, or even download the app on another device it's signed into the same account. , that is not the case for those who managed to bag themselves a free copy of GTA 3 on mobile last week.

On the one hand, this all feels a little unfair since it was someone else's mistake and if you got the game for free off the back of that mistake, it should be yours to keep forever. On the other hand, if you did download GTA 3 for free, just be thankful it hasn't been pulled from your device entirely. I'm honestly surprised that wasn't the case.
