This level requires Donkey Kong and Pauline to run up a hill filled with dangerous obstacles. Lik💟e every other challenge course in Donkey Kong Bananza, you can find three hidden Banandium Gems throughout the stage, which are wort🗹h looking for to help you earn enough stat points to unlock new skills and abilities.
Where To Find The First Banandium Gem
The first Banandium Gem is located at the top of the first slope. There are rolling balls with spikes on them that will hurt you if you touch them, so make sure you use R1 on the glowing sections of the floor to raise them a🌸nd give yourself some 💃protection for a few seconds.
The spiked balls drop in a spe💮cific pattern that you can utilize to make this stretch easier for yourself. Time your movements to easily make it to the first Banandium Gem.
Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem
This Banandium Gem is found at the very end of the stage and acts as a reward for clearing the course. To reach it, all you need to do is survive Spiked-Tide Slope and reach the top to receive this Gem.
Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem
You can find this Banandium Gem at the end of the stage, beneath the platform holding the second collectible and a barrel that launches you back to the overworld. To reach it, step off the left or right of the last bridge in the course to land in the hidden area. You can find two Boom Bombs here. Aiming one at the concrete on the ceiling and the other at the concrete containing the spiked balls.
Turn around from where you found the Boom Bombs and climb the pillar, which leads you to a climbable part of the ceiling. Continue down the path until the end, where you can drop and claim your prize.
The Boom Bombs do not respawn, so if you miss, you'll need to restart🎉 the stage and try again.
How To Complete Spiked-Tide Slope
Your first obstacle is a small slope with a barrage of spiked balls rolling down it. You can either use R1 on the glowing sections of the floor to give yourself some protection, or figure out the pattern the balls are falling in so you can easily avoiไd them o💞n your journey uphill.
Once you're at the top, you'll face a large, winding path filled with even more spiked balls. Fortunately, you can pull some Boom Bombs from the ground to change their path. Try to blow up the area on the edge of the map, so the balls roll straight off🐟 and leave some of the path clear for you to travel on.
You'll reach a second area with more Boom Bombs that you can use to create a new path for the spiked balls to follow. Once you clear this section, just walk across the bridge to complete this challenge course.
